The dressing appropriately thread got me thinking about this. I sleep in flannel PJ pants and a tee shirt, usually one I got free from the clubs at school or one I bought from a trip somewhere, the cheap nothing special shirts. Well, when I wake up in the morning, if I'm just staying home all day, I get "dressed" in a pair of flannel-y sweatpants and another free tee shirt. Maybe I'll add a zip up sweatshirt if it's chilly. But I'm basically changing into the same thing! I realized this the other day, and have no clue why I do it.

The only difference in the pants is that the ones I use to sleep usually have a pattern or design on them like polka dots or ice skates and the day pants are a solid color. The shirst are exactly the same, what I wear in the house one day can easily be a PJ shirt the next week. I probably should just put on clean PJs at night and stay in them during the day since I"m changing in and out of the same thing. I can't wear the clothes all day and then go into bed with them, it makes me feel like I need to wash my sheets sooner because I'm bringing the whole "day" in with me. But does anyone else do this? Or have a reason for why I do this?

I pretty much do the same thing, except I don't actually sleep in pants anymore (ugh, drives me nuts!)

I don't feel clean if I wear the clothes I slept in or vice versa..

I sleep in underwear, so when I put on lounge pants and a t-shirt, I guess that I'm half-way to black tie. :lmao:
