They used to hand out free MVMCP button pins when you lined up for the free photos, but all that has stopped now :confused3

They also used to have fresh sugar cookies and then they started giving out store bought hard cookies :confused3

Budget cuts and price increases might make this our last MVMCP

Speaking about cookies...What kind do they have this year?

According to a member of management who I quizzed on this, the button pins were eleminated becasue at the end of the evening the trash cans were FULL of them. (I told him to bring them back and charge a few dollars, I miss my pin!)

Having done both parties in the past, I really enjoy Christmas and don't really ever have to go back to Halloween!

To all that have already attended this years MVMCP-in order not to miss parade, fireworks, and snow what is the times all of these take place and when is the best time to eat.

That depends on you and your family. My Dh and I don't have kids so for us there is not rush to get there because we will be there till closing. Before the party we have dinner at CG at 5:30 then take the monorail to the MK.

There are 2 parades, both the same. We skip the first one, watch the second one and get a spot in front ot the Castle for the Holiday wishes. It has been our experience that the park really empties out after the fireworks, so if you can stay later, I highly recommend it.

Lots of people that have small children like to have an ADR in a MK restaurant early so they are in the park at the start of the party, so it appears they do the opposite of us.

There is not set time but I believe you can get your wristband at 4pm and stay in the park. By doing this you avoid the mad rush at the front gate to get in. Or you can wait till later to get in when everyone has entered.

I believe the snow falls on Main street during the parades, but I recall seeing it last year later in the evening too.

I know it seems overwhelming and you have to rush everywhere to secure you space and to make sure you get it all in. Not to worry....there are party maps everywhere and it will tell and show you when and where everything is happening. Don't worry if you miss something, it is all magical and really something to see. Just being there is worth it. Disney has everything timed pretty well. Since there are 2 parade times it cuts down on the crowd and allows you to see other things. If I remember correctly the fireworks are after the 2nd parade.

If you want to see "snow" the Osbourne Lights at MGM is the palce to be. You don;t need a speciall ticket, just admission to the MGM park. it snows all the time there......just don't eat the snowflakes....they are made of soap...but looks like snowflakes!
