DH and I have changed our reservations a total of four time and want to change again - we had ressies for CBR, switched to CSR, switched back to CBR and then switched to POR. We now decided to another night for a total of 9 nights and want to switch for five nights at value and 4 nights at moderate. Anyone else have this problem - we are so indecisive. . .we just love CBR and want to stay somewhere else but so undecided. We just went on the spring resort savings disney website and now cannot get ressies at any value resort with the CTN rate - is anyone else having any problems and is anyone else as indecisive as we are:)

I think I made 2 other ressies before finally settling on the one we have now.

We just switched our ressies and probably will a couple more times till I figure out exactly what days we will be going to the parks during our vacation. It was painful to switch because we will have fewer people and the computers were giving the CM a real problem with that. It also seemed very painful to go through the whole littany of switching with the CM I was working with. However, I did not have a problem getting room for Pop under CTN for the end of March. I do think it is a bit ridiculous that I had to ask for the code rate since it is up for booking directly on the web site - no need to have secret DIS'r information or Mousesavers inside dirt.

DNBois,

That is so funny because I have changed my mind from POR yo CBR back to POR. We are POR vets who wanted to try CBR for the first time, and CBR was booked, then wasn't booked, then we chickened out and now we are back to POR. OMG!! I am going to drive myself nuts with this!!!!!

As a matter of fact I changed our reservation AGAIN yesterday!! I have changed our reservition soooooo many times I am even getting confused about where we are staying!!! My husband doesn't want to know anymore wehere are staying....he will just wait and be surprised!!! Talked to my sister yesterday and she said the family was going to take bets on how many times I change our reservation before we go next time...I seem to do this at least 4 or 5 times every time we go.:)

I know what you mean about being confused, I got the CM so frazzled the other day that the computer froze and they told me to call back at a later time. I felt so bad!

I have changed my ressie for my upcoming trip on 1/23 to 1/27, a total of 8 times. Ah, Cm when they look up my reservation one CM, staring laughing and said, "Wow you have had alot of ressies". I finally decided to stay POR, from 1/23 to 1/27.

I thought we were the only ones that did this. That is why we never wanted to use a travel agent.

Of course when the time gets closer and the AP rates come out - sometimes you have to "adjust";) .

My daughter usually goes with us every year - even now that she is married. Last year she and her husband said do not tell us where we are going to stay until we get within 30 days.

Of course we always have many good reasons. Or so it seems at the time.

We are going in December 04 and decided we want to go back to the CRT. Then this past weekend we decide just the tower room was not enough and somehow (thru freezing eyeballs) changed to a tower club room. Made us feel so much warmer.

Not too bad yet. I will let you know where we will wind up.

On top of that - for various reasons we have switched in mid stream after arriving at Disney. Our driver just laughs at us.::teeth:

litlpixie,

Why don't we make a deal - let's trade secrets and try out other resorts. DH and I decided to stick with POR for the entire time and just splurge one more time (if I had a dime for everytime I said that). If you chose CBR, you will not be disappointed; you should ask for Jamaica, Building #44; they may not give you the exact room but if you were to ask, upon check-in, for Room 4456, you would be pleasantly surprised. (I remembered to write down the room number before we left:) It is a corner room with two double beds and the most gorgeous view you have ever seen; last May, we just happened to get this room after asking for a corner room and we were very, very pleased. This past time we asked for Jamaica b/c some DIS members said that it was the first bus stop p/u and the first bus stop d/o and I would say that was true about 85% of the time. If you choose CBR, you will be very happy - please let us know if there is a particular building, room or area that you think is the best - we are going to give it a try!!

Change ressies? I have 3 ressies right now, 2 off site and 1 at POR. 2 Itineraries tentatively planned -- one for offsite, 1 for onsite. Hopefully we'll decide sometime before we need to make PS! I just wish Disney had more affordable options for a family of 5. My decision wouldn't be early as hard....

For our upcoming trip, 3 times plus a room request. Originally was a split between POP and POR, then decided to do the whole time at POR, then AP rates came out and we upgraded once again to WL :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I have called a couple of times just to make sure we have really been confirmed at WL.

We loved CBR in August - We stayed in Aruba #52. As with the rates, keep trying. The system resets nightly and what may not be there today may be there tomorrow.

LOL - I do this too!!! I changed our ressies four times then called twice more for room requests and to verify what we are getting. I will call back before we leave just to make sure everything is correct. I also thought that I was the only one who did this!!! Glad to see that there are others...

Cya There!!

:wave2:

We started with 3 ressies. The first time that I called they did not have the Florida resident discount for the values that we always stay at so I reserved CSR(which I do not like). I called for a couple of days until I got a ressie for ASMu with the Florida resident discount. My wife asked me to see what rate I could get for AKL which she has always wanted to stay at and was able to get the Florida disount rate of $178/night ($100/night more than ASMu). We have both ressies and have 5 days before check in to cancel one depending on how our finances are up to then.

All this talk about how great CBR is, now I need to call and see if there are any rooms available yet, and I need to do it NOW!! I don't know if CRO wants to hear from me again, .....I wonder if they got my mugshot up on the wall by the phones w/ a warning to those that are unfortunate enough to pick up the phone on me The warning probably says FRC...Beware (Frequent Ressie Changer).

I'm a notorious ressie changer!
Already I booked AKL concierge rack rate, called to modify to AAA rate, called to downgrade to standard savannah, and will be calling again to apply a code when one comes out for my date. And I'm probably going to have to call again to take DH off the ressie, since he'd rather go to a tennis camp. His loss LOL!

litlpixie....my picture is right next to yours on the wall...I wonder about what CRO is thinking when they look at my reservation(s) when I call!!!!!!!

Me too- went from Dolphin, to Sheraton Safari- offsite to save money, then to Pop Century for $55 rate, then CBR for $114 rate, now canceled and back to Dolphin staying on points. All for just 3 nights. Still I keep calling for the WL- no availability for Pres. Weekend! Everyone thinks I'm nuts! P.S. I also call everyday hoping for an Illuminations cruise. My phone bill could probably pay for GF on the Gold Plan!

There should be a support group for us folk. I've changed my ressie 4 times. Thankfully, I leave for the drive tomorrow, otherwise we might be talking about even more changes. First, it was Pop Century for the first weekend in Feb, then I changed to a FW Cabin that same week, then changed back to PC for the last week in January and again last night- finally settled on a Savannah view at AKL thanks to the AP discount code and the promise of an impending tax return.

I may even end up splitting the stay at WL - I'm staying four nights. Dis veterans - Would it be worth it to split the stay or should I just stay at AKL for the entire four nights?
