Good morning my friends... well, we have weathered the night The fire is still burning (2500 acres so far) but the wind has shifted in the other direction for the time being (keep your fingers crossed) I asked DH what we are going to do "if" the fire is still not contained when we have to leave? He gave me one of these I guess that is better then a flat "staying home" Now I am actually glad that we aren't leaving for a few more days

Help! Are there coffe makers in the room? I won't be able to go to food court for a jolt w/o waking the kids. I don't function unless I've had coffee. Need to add to Walmart list if not.

I've always used old dry cleaner bags, worked like a charm. This time I rolled & stuffed I'd have to go work for zip lock to supplement a bag supply. Managed to ditch 1 capri, 1 top & 1 bathing suit. Didn't make a real big dent at all. Zipped up the case, opened the closet to find ALL THE GLOW STICKS I would have been sooooooo mad if I forgot them. Cheap coffee pot added to list-Thanks

Has anyone ever tried "Stand by" before ?? how does it work ??.

Did you check with your airline to see if they do "confirmed standby?" Some airlines do this and costs about $25 pp.

I believe regular standby is you go to the counter and give your info. If there is space on the plane they will give you a seat, if not you'll have to wait for the next flight. usually there is no charge.

Confirmed standby some airlines do for a small fee and check in time may vary. (not sure how many hours in advance they can confirm you). but you are confirmed for a seat.

You may want to check with your airline to see if they offer that.

I've reconsidered my wardrobe also.....may have to add a thing or two!! A girl just can never know how she's gonna feel from one day to the next, right!!! Must be prepared for anything!!!

MEN!!!!! That's all I've got to say about that!!!!!

Then again, this surprises me....seeing that Princess Peter is such a 'girly-man'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
