we are doing a week in clearwater and ending with a stay at the new aoa resort!! anyone ever flown into tampa and out of orlando before??
How does it work for
car rentals? can i rent and drop off in different places?

I have never done it with tampa and orlando, but I have rented a car and dropped it off somewhere else. It's super easy as long as there is a drop off/pick up in each location. They do tend to charge you more to do this though, so just be aware of that. If you look up car rental places online, you should be able to choose this as an option to price it out! Good luck

I've done the reverse...fly into MCO, rent a car (either there or at the Dophin) and then head to Tampa and return the car there and fly home.
No problem at all.

I have done it both ways as we have family in Clearwater and it is never an issue. In fact I often book my air as one way trips even when flying into and out of the the same airport.

As for car rentals - just do your research and pricing - unlike other places it usually doesn't make much difference in FL if you pick up and drop off in a different location.

Try some of the mousesaver codes and just keep pricing your options!
