Hi All,

Just wondering whether this is worth buying as a surprise for DH this year? Anyone done this and any thoughts to feedback?

Many thanks,

I did it before and i got to say its a nice experience but not much to expect from it,

I also did th Beluga interaction program that i liked more because you have such a close interaction with the animals compared to being behind a glass cage near the sharks :)

My DD and I thought it was a fun experience. Glad we did it but would choose something else next time. As the previous poster said, you ride in a cage past the sharks (and people in the tunnel/restaurant outside). Cool to be close to the sharks but would have loved a chance to interact with a nurse shark too.

Do they still offer the shark cage experience at SW? I can't find any info on their website, and all the posts on the message boards are old.

if DH is a diver you may want to look into Disney DiveQuest where one can SCUBA in the main tank at Living Seas/NEMO & FRIENDS in EPCOT

One of the most memorable dives I've experienced in my 30 plus years of diving.

I havent been diving that long, but it was pretty cool. Couple of nice size sharks, tons of other fish of course, turtles, rays. SUPER fun. And the video was pretty cool too. Also they will get your family on the video if they are at the right spot. You swim up and hover with your fam in the background. I could EASILY have just hung around the glass and interacted with the kids and people. Trust me, you are the STAR of the show at that point. THEY LOVE IT when you come up to them. Or drop down from above that freaks them out.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Shark dive experience is offered anymore. I think the Beluga interaction would be just as great as the shark dive. I'ver done the Beluga interaction, and it was a memorable experience.

we did the beluga whale and it was a fantastic experiance but be aware when you sit in the water it is very very cold but you soon get use to it, just:rotfl:
you get stoke, feed and command the whales and not rushed either
you got the picture cd with it a couple years ago but i think you have to pay extra now but worth it as there was loads of photos on it

My family are all PADI certified, but I am not. They loved Dive Quest and the best part is being part of the Disney show. If you don't scuba dive, you can still see the back stage areas of The Seas by signing up for the Seas Aqua Tour. You can snorkel with the amazing animals in the aquarium.
