Anyone done the Conch Republic Tour and Museum Package excursion in Key West?

I’m looking at doing the conch republic tour and museum package port adventure in Key West on our upcoming cruise in Jan. I was curious if anyone here has done it and their thoughts? I’ve done some searching but haven’t found much in terms of reviews. I was just going to do Key West on our own but we will be docking at the Outer Mole which I understand requires you wait for a shuttle to downtown. I thought it might just be easier to do an organized excursion and this one covers the main things we were looking at doing for not much more money than I priced it out on our own. This will be our first cruise so we have no experience with doing DCL port adventures vs other options.

My first cruise to Key West is 20 days away so I cannot answer the excursion question but in my research I found that The Outer Mole is a pier within a Navy Base. I read that excursions begin at Mallory Square when docked at the Outer Mole but that information might be dated. It appears that regardless of what you plan to do you have to exit the base via the shuttle provided by DCL. Perhaps someone who has been there can chime in with more information.

Exciting your cruise is getting close. Mine isn’t until January so if nothing else maybe you can share what you learn when you return. I don’t think Key West is a super common port for Disney so there seems to be a bit less info on it. Have a great cruise and thanks for sharing what you’ve heard!
