29 more days!!!!! I am definitely doing the happy dance and too make things even better we got all our trip stuff from AAA today. Talk about really early! I can't wait! I have even started packing this week. I am done planning so have to have something Disney to occupy my time.

I did something similar, just smaller since I didn't have anywhere to put a long paper chain. I made a calendar in Excel, but instead of the date, it shows how many days are left until we leave. Then on the saturday we're leaving, is a picture of Mickey Mouse. In each block, is a short reminder of either how many days until a certain ADR, or a reminder of something from a previous trip. It gives them something to talk about. Each night before bed they color in a block. They know that when we get to the Mickey picture, it's time to go see Mickey!!! BTW, my kids are only 5 and 3, so this has been a great visual for them, and it's easy to just hang on the refrigerator!

Yep Ours is made from alternating red, white, and black construction paper strips. It looks so Disneyfied

20 days for us. However I like to look at it as 19 days since we check in on the 12th., and the second I walk out of work on the 11th. my brain is already in the hotel lobby.

Me too!!! POR from May 5 - 12! Only 15 more days! Can't wait! We are driving down from New Jersey. Actually leaving Thursday May 3rd cause we have a wedding to go to in Boca on Saturday first. Our plan is to actually leave and drive straight to Disney from the reception... should be arriving around 1am. Then off to the MK Sunday morning!

I'm in Jersey too. How long does it take you to drive there? DH would love to do that rather than fly, maybe for a future trip one day.

I just moved to SC from South Jersey, and it takes me 12 hours from here to Jersey, and 7.5 hrs. from here to Orlando. Of course traffic around D.C. can have an enormous effect on total drive time.
