Anyone doing the may 07 dance?!

It is a much different scenario packing for 2 than for packing for a crew of 5. If I could wait until the last minute I would also.....Those days are long gone and over for us Sheer volume will draw you to packing early. For me shoes are also enough to throw me over the edge. Once the cases are packed I leave them alone, until then the pile just keeps growing!

I hear you about the shoes. We all have 1 pair of sneakers (since there bulky we wear them on the flights there) and we all have one pair of sandles except me. Thank god I'm the only female in my family of 5 or I'd be in trouble just with shoes. This year I've backed down to 6 pairs. Good thing flip flops are in, they don't take up as much space.
For a 9 day trip and only 6 pair of shoes, not too bad!

lucky you marjol! here in NYC, its coooold and rainy. way too cold. we wont get warm weather til MAYBE this weekend.

Same here! Family of 5 and 3 sons . Shoes, they could care less. My husband thinks its nuts! But a girl must have a change of shoes and you just don't know what you'll be in the mood for on any given day. DH would wear the same shorts for the entire week if he needed to But honestly you don't know which will be comfortable or what will end up giving blisters! We all know that is never fun. Usually I get there and wish I had packed just one more pair.

Last trip WDW 2004 been to DL in2005 and Hong kong Disney in 2006 but not the same as Florida. See you soon.

We will be there at the same time but staying at SSR. May 23rd thru 29th. DS will celebrate 4th birthday with Mickey!! Should be Magic!!

My daughter leaves tomorrow night for 3 days as her 8th grade trip I so wish I could go with her. And our trip is in just 36 days!!!!! I am so excited I can't stand it.

I'm sooo ready, but first I have to get through a Middle School Band trip to Myrtle Beach SC next week with DD. I'm not looking forward to it, all year long I've been going "why can't they go to Orlando"? I'm looking at 7 plus hours on a charter bus, but there was no way that I was letting my 11 year old go alone! After we get back, then I'll start thinking about Disney. We go so frequently that my suitcase stays semi-packed, moleskin, ponchos, my tolietries (I keep duplicates of all my beauty items packed). I'll throw some clothes and shoes (lots of shoes) in and call it packed the day before!

I'm all packed too! I actually start in Jan. (we go every year in May)
My DS (13), DS (6) and DD (2) all out grow there summer clothes every year so as I buy them, I just put them right in the suitcase. For me, I lost alot of weight so I had to buy all new summer clothes too!. My DH is the only one with last years clothes packed. Since we live in the Buffalo area and it snows up till the time we leave, I have no use for them before our vacation.... Which by the way is in 3 weeks!!!!

Just booked POP for May 9-13 for my friend, myself and my two youngest kids. I can't believe that I've done it because we are going to POR at the end of Sept. Guess I'm nuts. LOL

DH and I will be staying at POR May 17-20. This is a short weekend trip for just the two of us to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary.

We'll be doing the dance from May 9th to the 18th at Pop Century! Taking Grandma for the first time!!! Two rooms (Me, Hubby, twins, son and grandma!) - just realized we should have asked for "connecting rooms" to have the door between rather than "Adjoining" which means just next to each other! Oh well - it'll alll work out! Have an awesome time! cheshire65
