We did this on our trip last November. It was worthwhile doing once for the experience, but not something I would bother with again. The riverside seats were behind the fence, so it wasn't completely clear - some people were even seated behind the pillars or light poles, and had to lean out to see. We checked in early to ensure good seat placement, but even still I wasn't overly impressed. Yes, it was nice to have a chair, drink service, and the cookies were good - but not at a price tag of over $150 for me, DH, and our 3year old. We knew it would be pricey, and were OK with that, but DH and I agreed afterwards that it wasn't as special or nice as we expected given the price tag.
The only real advantage was that we didn't have to linger to get our spot - but honestly, we could have likely managed to snag a better spot for free by moving in as the audience for the first show was leaving, and had only a short wait for the second show. YMMV, of course, but in our case it just wasn't worth the cost when all was said and done.
