I was considering this one- has anyone done it? Is it worth it? Does it do anything?

I recently did this (not on DCL), and i really liked it. It is a little expensive, but I thought worth it. I lost about a total of nine inches in the one treatment. The only part that surprised me was the little electronic shocks at first, but then after a minute or two, it was no big deal.

What do you do while the treatment is being done? Perhaps my life is too crazy to even think about slowing down, but I worry about being bored.

You just lay back and try to relax. First you are taken in a room, and you underss, and then you are scrubbed down with this brush that is supposed to remove your dead skin. Then they put some kind of stuff on you, leave you go for awhile, and then you shower. You go back to the room, oh and before i forget, they measure you first all over so that you can compare the before after results. Then they slather you down with some stuff, and wrap you up. Can't remember eaxtly, cause i may be getting this confused a little with the seawead wrap I also had the same week...Then they hook you up to these wires, and then once the machine gets turned on you get these little electric shocks that move your muscles while you lay there and relax (it took a few minutes for me to get relaxed!) and you go like this for about twenty or so minutes. Then you go back and shower off. I did this on an RCCL cruise, so not just exactly sure how DCL does this. This treatment also helps lessen stretch marks and cellulite as well as make some inches go away.

Hope this helps and hasn't been too confusing.

Did you notice that the inches stayed off for long? or do you have a drink of water and blow back up again :p

Are we talking totally naked or do they give you little disposable panties or something? I love the idea of reducing cellulite and stretch mark appearance. I am trying so hard to get in better shape for this cruise and I thought this would be a nice treat for myself. I am just a little apprehensive of standing in the buff- was it uncomfortable?

I'd considered doing this treatment, but opted for the seaweed wrap, which was wonderful.

PS- the dry brush thing is great to for your circulation. You can get really good body brushes at just about any spa, AVEDA store, etc.

i did both the seaweed wrap and the inontherapy treatment the same week. I liked them both, but i liked the inotheraphy treament better.

Actually you could keep your underwear on for this, but then you didn't have any to wear when you went back to the room, so if you are modest, then take an extra pair with you. Personally, i am pretty overweight, and it didn't bother me. I thought those folks wouldn't ever see me again, and I guess i just decided if i was going to pay that much for the treatment, then i was going to do it the way they recommended. Also this was on an RCCL cruise.
