Hi all: if anyone here attended the 11/30 MVMCP party, could you let me know whether you feel ride wait times and food/drink lines, etc were much lighter at the hard tic party compared to a reg MK night this time of year? Earlier Nov party attendees reported attractions/ride times were better but wondering if Thanksgiving weekend was any different. (I know parades and character M&Gs are very busy, but don't care as much about those.)

I'm debating whether to spend the extra $$$ to do the party on 12/9 since my only MK night (8th) of this very short trip is now designated as a parade taping day. They're predicting higher than avg crowds that night after taping ends.

I apologize if anyone already shared their 11/30 experiences...searched but didn't find on the boards yet and need to make a decision soon. Thank you! :)

If your intentions are to get in a bunch of rides to make up for crowds and lack of MK time your other day, then I would say it is a good idea. You should be able to ride everything that is open without much difficulty.

Appreciate your response. Rides/normal attractions are definitely the main thing. Must limit ourselves to just 1 MK nite this trip - 12/9 party or 12/8. Will do CP the other nite. Tic costs are a pretty big chunk of cash, on top of park hoppers we already bought before hearing about taping reschedule. So just figured it wouldn't hurt to see how the party went last night. Thanks again!

We went 11/30. It was full from4-7, but after 7 we were able to ride everything we wanted with a 15 minute wait or less. Was totally worth it to us and had a ball!

We basically walked on everything we wanted to do (BTMRR and Space Mtn multiple times each throughout the night). The only waits I noticed were Peter Pan and 7DMT, but we rode that with FP before the official party start time.

Many of the signs said 10-15 minutes, but there really was no wait.

thank you for sharing your experiences: I really appreciate it. The party is definitely not an expense we were expecting to pay on top of other tics already bought, but I think I may go for it...sounds like a much more pleasant evening than fighting the crowds on the only open MK night in-between that will probably be jam packed.

We also had the same experience as the pp. Very short (if any) waits for most rides. Some long lines for characters but my dd only wanted to see Minnie mouse. We got in line to see Jack Skeleton but it was about 45 minutes and dd didn't want to wait so we left. At one point Peter Pan wait time was posted at 40 minutes. It didn't look bad so we got in line and walked right through it onto the ride.

:yay:
