I do. I was really dissappointed when I finally made an effort to see this parade last month. It sounds like such a great concept, but I really think Disney missed the mark on this one. First of all, the floats with the snowglobes are up so high those of us sitting on the curb to get a great view look more at tires than seeing the characters. Plus, they are so removed, I don't think it is magical. What is with that? Plus, the kids don't get the theme. Isn't that what the MK is all about - kids? There really isn't any catchy music or WOW about this entire parade! The funnest thing about it was all the cast members interacting with the kids to keep them from getting bored waiting for the parade to start. Very fun. I just don't think the wait is at all worth this parade. And I am a parade fan! I adore the MGM parade and the AK parade. I even liked the Epcot parade (canceled). So, am I the only one who feels this way?

Am I nuts, or did I just miss something?

I don't think you are nuts, I thought I was. I am not a big fan of the parade. I am a HUGE fan of the remember the magic parade. Now that was a catchy tune!

I don't care for it either. The Magical Moments parade was soooo much better. I doubt we'll make the effort to see Dream Come True Parade again.

I agree. We've seen the parade 3 or 4 times, but the characters do seem detached being in the bubbles. When we were there, the parade stopped a couple of times and the kids got to go out and be involved in the dancing, but I heard they stopped doing that after the Pluto accident last year.

The magical memories parade was better.

I love everything Disney (except the backyard BBQ)....we'll probably watch the parade this trip too.

I dont so much "dislike" it as I've seen it and now dont care to see it anymore.

Maybe they should change parades more often.

I liked it but saw it like 5 times and now just avoid it during parade times.

I think they really need a new parade at MK, how long has this run? 4/5 years its boring and dry. Now JJ parade at AK - I LOVE it, catchy tune loads of character interaction. I loved remeber the magic and mickeymania at MK they were great, comeon Disney, give us a new parade. I also think MGM needs a new parade now, been it seen it bored of it now.

I'm sorry. Im not one for parades. For my family its always been about

"ok, the parade is starting, lets hit all of the mountains AND peter pan"

because usually they are less busy (my families secret has leaked out though...now everyone skips the parade... ;) )

I dont like this parade for the same reason I dont like Milli Vanilli, or Ashley Simpson.

LIP-SYNCING!

There's nothing like being mystefied by seeing Peter Pan, and then see him miss his cue...

One the plus side Prince Eric winked at me once, as we were walking by the parade. And of course I was oggling him. And then i melted into a small puddle.

I also dont like the Christmas parade. Ginger Bread Men and Clowns :earseek: TERRIFIYING!!!!!!

Not a huge fan of the current parade either, I miss Mickey Mania!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still hum the tune!

That was the first MK parade that my daughter saw! :earboy2: We were trying to remember how that music went. :rolleyes1 It was a great parade. They really do need to switch up parades more often. I'm sure they save almost everything, so even if they just pulled out an old one to run again it would be great! I've seen Share A Dream 3-4 times now and have no need to see it again. Although, no matter how many times I see SpectroMagic, I LOVE it! :Pinkbounc Go figure...

I have to agree with all of you, I'm sooo done with this parade. It's been there for what 3 years now, Disney really needs to get a new Magic Kingdom parade. I think seeing it once is enough, I mean its okay that first time, but after that Its not all great, not one of those ones you want to keep watching over and over again! I DEFINATELY think its time Magic Kingdom got a new parade, I thought maybe they would for the 50th Anniversary especially since that new parade in Disneyland looks great, especially since there's a real Tinkerbell, now why couldn't DisneyWorld get that too!?!!!

That's actually my least favorite parade. I never did like it much. AK's parade is my favorite!

What was the Pluto accident?

I have been known to sit for 2-3 hours to see Spectro but I am h ard pressed to say that I would wait 2-3 minutes to see this parade. Seen it once, enuff. (zzzzz)

Tapestry is quite another matter. It was awesome. I miss it.

Slightly Goofy

About 12-18 months ago the CM playing Pluto was killed backstage when he was basically rundown by a very large parade vehicle. That vehicle is no longer in the parade in its original form (it was a very large 3-piece princess float) and the stops to interact with guests have been removed.

That's awful :(

ITA! Although I have seen SADCT 3 times now. Each of the last 3 times I have been I have taken different people and just because I don't care for it I didn't think it fair of me to skip it. Especially since they were people who won't likely make it back for a long time, if ever.

Myst

I've seen the mk parade a couple of times and now skip it. Its ok but they need a new one. My favorite parade was tapestry in epcot along with several of its variations. One vacation I watched it 7 nights straight :Pinkbounc Epcot needs a good parade. With increasing attendance over the last 18 months I cannt see why they dont. Cannt say there's no one there.

Share a Dream is our families favorite parade. I always take my house guests to see that one and they have all enjoyed it also.
