Anyone Decorated Car for Disney Road Trip? is it safe? What did you do?

No it's not really safe.

It's like putting a big target on your car for a smash and grap. Even a fake accident .

This is just my opinion and I know it's why they took most of the advertisments and stickers off rental cars.

When driving, we always fill the back window with our "buddies" (i.e., stuffed animals) including Chili from a Bug's Life, a big Mickey, Pooh, and whoever else decides that are coming on the trip...

Nothing says "white trash family on board" more than a car decorated for a Disney road trip. And when you're ready to decorate, I'm sure you will find plenty of trinkets at your local WalMart.

Thats a little uncalled for.......

:rotfl: If that's true, I want to be white trash!

I love the idea. If I saw a car on the road decorated for a Disney trip, I'd think was so cute, and I'd say what a lucky family. I never thought about someone hitting the car deliberately or robbing it. Maybe I'm just naive?:confused3

I'd try to find Disney clings to put on the windows, get an antenna topper, maybe make a little sign to hang on the back of the car. What a fun way to start a vacation!

We decorate our car with the window chalk before our cruises!

Oh my! Somebody needs some pixie dust because you appear to be having a bad day. :flower3: Hope you're feeling better and try to spread some cheer next time! :)

I have never decorated my car not even with bumper stickers because I like to feel like a spy so I can't draw attention to myself, but I think it would be cool to decorate the inside of the car. It might be better if the people going to DL could see it, rather than people who have no idea what you're up to and then you guys will be super in the mood once you get there. You could put stuffed toys in the back window like someone else previously mentioned. Get like a disney steering wheel cover thingy, and maybe some head rest covers. You can take it all down when you get back from your road trip but I think it'd be cool to get in the mood while you have to drive there. You could maybe find some disney games to play in the car too.

That was not a very nice thing to say. OP, if you want to decorate your car, go for it! I just wouldn't overdo it, as another poster mentioned those mean-spirited people who are out there just to involve you in a "fake" accident!

Ooh, even better! :teeth:

I guess I am white trash then. My van has Disney decals on the windows. I usually have an antenna ball type thing too.

:lmao: I dunno about decorating it for a road trip, but like Lynn said, I decorate my car every day anyways.... well as much as I can.

I went out and got tinkerbell seat covers, Floor mats, steering wheel covers, a little tink ornament for the rear view mirror, and a sparkley tink deckel thing for the back window.

Unfortunately as cute as it was in my adorable little car that I share with my dad as he needs it several days a week for work, he literally flipped when he found out what I did to my car!!! He looked straight at my mom and then at me and said "UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE AM I GOING TO DRIVE A FAIRY CAR". So for his sake I took them down leaving the window deckel, the floor mats and the mirror ornament

Just wait till I get my tink liscense plate or a plate that says "ILUVFAIRIES"

This was really not called for. :sad2:

If you want to decorate your car, I say decorate away! I personally don't, but then again, I am anal about a finger print being on my car.
