Anyone Can Cook... Has Anyone Done It?

Apparently it is not always paired with wine. We just got off the Fantasy yesterday. My wife did one of the Anyone Can Cook demonstrations and was disappointed that they did not offer any wine pairing.

Sorry about that....every time I went it was paired with wine.

rom looking at some Navigators it seems that the classic ships have it limited to Adults Only, and the Dream/Fantasy have it as 'fun for all ages'. So I'd check out some old navigators to see what it has been on your type of cruise.

Carefully check it out when you get there. We did one on the Fantasy last December and it was adults-only. One of the best ones we went to was on our 12-day Northern European cruise. They did an iron-chef like competition between the head chef at Palo and one of the sous-chefs - I think also from Palo. They didn't know what the ingredient was and then halfway through the cooking, they had different additional ingredients handed to them. Because they had no idea what they were cooking, there was no ability to make up samples to hand out so they picked three people from the audience to do the taste-testing. Then the two chefs proceeded to try to sabotage each other by tossing food into the other's pan, turning off elements, stealing ingredients. I don't know if that was planned or just happened, but it was hilarious to watch. And both still managed to turn out something edible according to the "judges". I think they served a little wine even though there were no food samples. It was also an adults-only session.
