Anyone buy the new Hallmark tree-topper?

The Hallmark star tree-topper needs the "booster" from Hallmark - you can plug in a bunch of their new lighted ornaments to it too. We have the topper on our tree, but it won't stay lit! I have had the worst luck with toppers! I broke Mickey the Band Leader - various Angels have died - nothing looks good on top. I thought this Hallmark one would be perfect.

Anyone else have this one?
