Since we are staying offsite we are thinking of buying the Express Plus passes. We are probably going to the parks on February 19 (President's day)and the 20th. I know you are only allowed one entry into each express attraction. I'm pretty sure the lines will be long on these days. Has anyone purchased them and felt they got their money's worth???
Thanks

Waste of money IMO. Also I dont really like paying full price for an admission ticket, then getting to the front of the line for the front carriage for Duelling Dragons only to loose my spot 4 TIMES IN A ROW to some little kids with fastpass tickets. Complete bs IMO. Disneys version is much much better!

I would purchase them if you don't want to wait in the regular lines at all. If you get to the parks before opening and ride all the major rides early, you shouldn't need them as much as you would if you show up at 11. The great thing about the passes is that you are guaranteed to get to ride each ride once.

It will definitely be super busy that weekend so I would get them - if there isn't a long regular line, save them for later. But, would definitely give you ability to do some things more than once. Last time I did it, not all CMs marked that we used ours so we were able to use them on some rides/attractions more than once.

Since you are staying off site and going on a holiday weekend they are a "must" unless you really like standing in long lines. We buy them, I have them purchased for our trip in March for two differnt days. It is so nice to be able to just hop in the Express line when the regular line is over 45 minutes long and ride within 5 minutes or so....I highly recommend them for the holiday periods. ....:thumbsup2

Thanks
I'm pretty convinced that we should get them. I'd rather not wait in any 45 minute lines!

We bought them in March 2005 and May 2006 and loved having them -- just for peace of mind. Yes, we arrived early, and at Universal parks, in our experience in March and May, if you get there at opening, you really have them to yourselves for a good 90 minutes. No need for express passes. But after lunch, there were long lines at things we wanted to ride again (Mummy, Men in Black, etc.). No problem! These passes allowed us to work one way around the parks twice, without backtracking at all.

I consider them a luxury, however, not a necessity.
