Hi All,
I am looking at car rental for our trip next August. The cheapest I can find (via UK site) using the AAA (AA) code is with Hertz, £526 for 20 days with a 7 seater van, full insurance and free booster seat rental. I think I can also get Quidco cash back which would take it below £500, which seems pretty good to me.
I have looked at their website regarding the AAA discount and it says that another AAA member (i.e. spouse) can be added as an additional driver for no extra charge (this option is not available during the booking process though). Has anyone had experience of this? I could get the wife AA membership for £7(after Quidco) which would obviously be much cheaper than paying $15 for 20days!
I have tried the AA website and they will give same price (but not Quidco) and an additional driver free but not free booster seat rental.
Just wondered whether others have experience of booking via Hertz/AAA and got the additional driver etc.
Thanks Michael
