I usually book through a Disney specialist travel agent but I decided to get a second option because they have a plan to pay 12 months equal payments.

My question is when I checked on the Disney site I was quoted one price and through sears its 800 cheaper! How can that be

I am trying to book the play, stay and dine plan and even though it says its the plan on sears I'm worried there is something wrong. I haven't booked yet but I'm wondering the pros and cons with going with Sears travel vs. who I've always gone with.

Thanks.
I'm in Canada in case that makes a difference.

For some reason our park tickets were put in wrong and not at all for some.
He thinks anyway.

That would explain the big difference in price.

You might want to book with Disney or an agent who books with Disney and make your own payments.

Vacation packages, such as SPD offer, have a $200 deposit with the balance due 45 days prior to check in.

A room-only reservation is likely what you were quoted because $800 is a whole lot of difference.

If you really want to save some serious cash you should check out the "magical" travel agent. They were offering rooms at 55% off what Disney was selling them for during the agency exclusive labor day deal.
