I heard on the news this morning that Delta experienced a glitch in their online booking system yesterday which allowed people to book fares at a 90% discount. Delta says they will honor the tickets purchased at a discount. Any DISers benefit from this glitch?

I saw this too, I wish I knew about it

I heard there were $38 tickets from Indy to Hawaii. Really would have loved to have snagged a couple of those.

Someone in my Dis October '14 group got a bunch of fares for $45ish round trip! What a treat!

I was a click away from booking a last minute trip for the family. Philly to Nashville $74 round trip but DH decided he didn't want to go. At the time I didn't realize it was an error ad thought it was some type of sale.

I was pricing a JFK-LAX ticket on Delta during the time frame and it didn't come up any cheaper. Such is my luck!

I got through the entire booking process at $47 roundtrip SAN to MCO. When I went to pay, the site corrected the price. Wish I would have went a little faster!

There are a couple of people who got the deal in the DCL forum.

A bunch of people at my work got the deal. One is taking her family of 5 to lax in January for $220 total. Another got Hawaii for $78 and there were a few others. I was off yesterday so I didn't hear about it till today

Oh man what a find. Lucky people! My question is how do thy find these deals? Sign me up!

One of my coworkers snagged flights from Minneapolis to Anchorage for June, for $49 per RT ticket. Arg!!! I wish I would have known about this as I am pining for airfare to Maui for a 2014 trip.

It wasn't a deal, it was a mistake on Delta's part. So it's truly a case of being in the right place at the right time for when a website totally messes up.

The people buying tickets were fairly lucky that Delta decided to honor the price. It's possible that it's required of them, but in retail a mistake isn't something that *has to be* honored.

I read a news site yesterday that said do to new regulation by the govt Delta was required to honor the prices posted.

Don't know if its true or not but I feel that the bad press of not honoring them would cost more than honoring them.

I wish I would have be able to get a cheap flight. West coast to east coast is expensive.

We did- not to WDW, but got a flight from Fort Myers to Houston for $24 per person. :wave2:
