Anyone been to South Afirca?

I've always wanted to go to Africa.
DH wants to go back to a World Cup.
World Cup is in South Africa in 2010 and we don't intend to have children (aka we have the finances to go).

What to see and do? I want to do a safari, etc. I also wanted to travel to see Mt. Kilimanjaro and Victora Falls. Suggest doing it or missing it? How easy/difficult is inter-continental but international travel in Africa?
