Anyone been to Grandbeach resortin Orlando.

I would like to know if anyone has ever stayed at Grand beach resort? If you have please tell me how you liked it and some info about the rooms and the resort itself. Also, can you give me some tips on what to see and what is there for kids as I will have kids with me(18,17,9,7). Thanks!!

We stayed there in September, 2007. Very nice place -- all of the units are 3 bedroom units, each unit has a screened in patio which was very nice for evening dinners. Typical timeshare appointments -- dishes, utensils, washer/dryer, etc. There wasn't much for our kids to do when we were there -- no scheduled activities to speak of -- but we spent most of our time in the parks anyway so we weren't too bothered by that.

We love this place. We have stayed there 3 times before, and have enjoyed it every time. It is very close to WDW, which is a plus. Nothing fancy, pools are not overly wonderful, but we spend all of our time at the parks, and don't swim too much, especially in February and March. It sits on Lake Bryan, a very nice lake that is fairly large. I think you would like it.

I stayed here in 2004 and really enjoyed the location and resort. It is close to WDW, many restaurants and outlet malls. The pool is nothing fancy, but nice. Seems like their was a playground. It was a three bedroom unit, plenty of room. If I were booking there again, I would request the top floor. We heard everything going on above us and outside in the hallway.

We will be at Grand Beach for the first time July 3rd thru July 10th. Is there on site transportation to the WDW parks? Is there anything walking distance from Grand Beach?

there isn't anything within walking distance as far as i can remember. we love this resort. our only negative is the tile in the kitchen! it hurts our feet. socks solved the problem!
