Anyone been to Ellen's Stardust Diner in NYC?

Coming into the city for our annual broadway play with my nieces and sister and my sister heard this was a fun place. I read good reviews too, but would love to hear from DISers!

I think I was at this place. If it is the one where the waiters and waitresses sing and dance. Food was good and it is a fun place.

My daughter always puts in her request to go here whenever we go to NY. The food isn't anything spectacular, but the atmosphere makes up for it. (The food isn't bad, just ordinary.) It really is a lot of fun.

I used to work around the corner...good diner food and great atmosphere. Definitely go!

We were just there about two weeks ago, and had been there a couple of times before. It IS a fun place. Do a search for "stardust diner" here, and you'll find more info. Have fun!

If you want to go then Monday is the slowest day (due to the theaters being dark that day) but any other day is PACKED and busy so go EARLY and be prepared to wait wait wait in line just to get in.
