Would love to hear from anyone who has been to Cypress Gardens since it re-opened...........what did you think? We have never been, so have nothing to compare it to, but wondered whether it was worth including in next trip! Please help!

Just curious but what is Cypress Gardens? Is it like a botanical gardens in Orlando or is it a hotel? Sorry if this is a silly question I've just never heard of it before! :)

Have not been since reopened but plan to in Feb or Mar. this year. Last time I went was year before it closed. It was then a nice park to enjoy scenery, water ski show etc. Not really for kids that ar einto rides as no rides then. Was more for adults that enjoy scenic gardens and senior shows.

The new rides sound great and half the price of disney etc. check out www.cypressgardens.com

Cypress Gardens is Florida's oldest amusement park. It's about 40 minutes south of Orlando.

eCypress.com has some pictures of the park and all of the rides on the site.

I think the park looks great and it's a great change of pace park with short lines (the two times that I have been there) and it's definitely a traditional throwback park -- and one that will get even better when the animal exhibits open up and the waterpark in a few months.
