The finding Nemo Ride???
Just been reading up on it and it says its not suitable for children under 7 yrs old? Is it a fast Ride then??? (a roller coaster)
From the picture it looks like it takes you through a journey to see the Nemo scenes which i thought would be suitable for young kids however when i saw the age and Height restriction im thinking its a kind of fast roller coaster?? :confused3 :confused3

I went on with my 5 year old daughter, seems pretty daft having an age recommendation when the height restriction allows a below average in height 5 year old to be able to go on it.

I would say use your own judgement my 5 yr old went on and was fine although i couldnt see her she was sat right next me we managed to hold hands she probably had her eyes squeezed shut and was pooping herself going round but she was certainly not any worse for the wear when we got off it!

My daughter will be 3yrs old when we go in Nov 2008
I just didnt know if it was a fast ride like a roller coaster OR if it just takes you on a slow journey to see the Nemo Scenes?? (if thats the case im sure it would be suitable for my daughter) however if its a fast ride (like a roller coaster then i cant take her on.
Unfortunately i wont be able to try out the rides before hand as i will have no one to look after my daughter while im on so im reading up about the rides etc... before we go so i have a rough idea whats suitable for her.

Unless your daughter is a pretty tall 3 year old she won't be allowed on...I also think you would scar her for life!!:rotfl: Don't want to spoil it for people but it starts off slow then BANG!!! My 7 year old loved it..but the first time she went on it all she kept shouting was 'oh my goodness, oh my goodness'..when she came out she was silent and had a face like this smiley  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: Also if you do go on...going backwards feels worse than going forwards so choose carefully!!! Or was that just me?

great ride...enjoy yourself!!!

So its definately a fast ride then? Similar to a roller coaster???

I thought the height restriction was 1.07m.:confused3

Either way i would be surprised if she would make that height at just 3.

Can't wait to ride this one, sounds like so much fun!!:cool1:

There was a lot of kids coming off this who were definitely a bit white about the gills

Definitely more scarey than Big Thunder Mountain. The restraint is not an over the shoulder purely because there are no inversions, but it is definitely more securing than a lap bar :)

Don't let the nice and slow look fool you, it might be an easy ride to start with but all of a sudden it goes mad, spins around like a rollercoaster, it's not a ride for children unless they like attractions like Rock'n'roller coaster.
I love this ride, I think it's so much fun, I was sitting backwards and didn't see what happen untill it happen, it was so much fun!!!

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE RIDE IS LIKE DON'T READ THE NEXT BIT:

Its ok, starts of slow then you go out in the fresh air which is fast (ish) then you go slowly through the ride for a short while then you go up a track quite slowly then when you get to the top it takes off like a bullet then its all twists and turns..very fast..almost feels like you are on your side..but because its really dark it probably makes it feel worse.

Im not so good travelling backwards

having yet to ride this any tips on not travelling backwards

At some point in the ride either side can end up going backwards. DP did not enjoy facing downwards when the cart was getting pulled up before crush went spinning crazy :scared1:

I think this is a definite no for me and DS(8) - he's only just getting into coasters (the BABY dragon at Legoland is fast enough for him:rotfl: ) and does get very  travelling. I'll put that on the "no way" list:thumbsup2

i didn't like it and I don't mind Rock and Roller coaster - I thought it was just as twisty and disorienting as that and although we had a 6 year old with us who rode it twice some of the adults only made it the once. I was hoping it was a nice meander through the sea but that slow start is just to fool you.

Probably wrong here..but please correct me:thumbsup2

I thought if you sat in the backward seats you were going backwards for most of the ride til the crazy part then you finished the ride backwards again???? Maybe thats what you meant and I read it wrong:)

I can see what you are saying about the cart being pulled up...not nice!!!:rotfl:
