Anyone been on ''Crush's Coaster!''

Im not so good travelling backwards

having yet to ride this any tips on not travelling backwards

I sat in the backwards seats every time I went on it and the only bit I found weird was going UP the track..so you are facing down..after that trust me you won't be caring!!!

Sit in the seats that are facing the way the ride goes...then you are forword??? But maybe its not that simple???

To be on the safe side ask a cast member like someone said...but you SOOOO have to try it!!:rotfl:

We went on Crush 4 times in 1 day. It was great!
They were very strict about sticking to the hight restriction, though many parents kept trying to argue. They even made some kids take of shoes to prove they were too short next to the measure, but that was with some very pushy parents.

We went 3 times starting forwards and 1 time starting backward. We def prefer to start facing forwards but once you start spinning it is a different ride every time as where the heavy people are in the shell affects how it spins so you can never know in advance. So you can end facing forward or backward no matter which way you start.

Its a great ride though, definatly worth trying :thumbsup2

..... but came off this ride feeling a little worse for wear:sick: ..... definately one to do before, rather than after lunch. Even thought the studios were fairly quiet, the queue was constistantly showing 20 minutes +, and that was an underestimation from my experience.

I'll never understand why any parent would want to risk the safety of their child :confused3 Height restrictions are there for very good reasons :)

Defo!:thumbsup2 There was a woman shouting her head off at the nemo ride..because her daughter wasn't big enough, they said to her that next year she could go on, the woman made a right idiot of herself and you could hear her a mile off!

Last year my daughter wanted to go on RnR but she was 2mm too short, she was gutted but the lovely CM gave her a certificate saying next time she could do it. She went on and on about it all holiday about wanting to go on and it was getting really boring trust me!!:rotfl: About 2 days later she said she might have grown so she ran over to the ride (no queque) to get them to check:rotfl: But you know what they let her on!!!:scared1: I was expecting them to turn her back so I could kinda say 'told you so'!!;) I decided to go on with her as her dad was looking after DS....You know the turnstyle bit inside well another CM took her aside and said she needed measured (I was secretly relieved) he came back measured her and said she was ok!.....just about to get on the ride and another CM came over...(talk about the signs not to go on the flippin thing!:rotfl: )and he measured her again and asked if she had been on before and we said no...He said by all means she could go on because she was tall enough but the ride itself might be too much for her?????? I asked if she would slip out:confused3 and they said no she wouldn't even if she was smaller she wouldn't but it would be the fright of the ride???????? By this time Jade was well excited she was getting on and even now I'm chuffed they all checked!!!! I shook all the way round hanging on to her with my heart in my mouth....she LOVED it!!!!:rotfl:

Not once while that was going on did I want to rant and rave at them...I just don't understand some people who feel the need for that, imagine what their kids are thinking eh? 'oh there goes mum off on one again':rolleyes1

i didn't like it and I don't mind Rock and Roller coaster - I thought it was just as twisty and disorienting as that and although we had a 6 year old with us who rode it twice some of the adults only made it the once. I was hoping it was a nice meander through the sea but that slow start is just to fool you.

It was the same for me, i went twice on SM, three times on RCR but just once was enough (more than enough would say lol) of Crush lol

I thought crush was ok, wasnt what i was quite expecting.
I perfered ToT lol

If I felt ill on Expedition Everest because of the backwards part, would I feel ill on Crush's Coaster?

I've only ridden Crush once and I was sat backwards but it didn't make me feel ill. It's not as intense as Everest. I didn't feel ill on that either but I can understand why some people do. Crush is more on a scale of Big Thunder Mountain with spinning.

I would say you would be OK provided you don't feel ill on spinning rides like the Tea Cups and Star Tours. Hopefully you'll ride it and enjoy it. :thumbsup2
