Anyone back from Star Wars Weekends yet?

We leave for Star Wars Weekend Fri.! We were there two years ago, and my then 5 yr.old son was chosen for Jedi Training. What a blast--it was the highlight of our trip. My son is a huge Star Wars fan (O.k...mom and dad are, too!) and becoming a padawan was such a thrill for him. He received a certificate and of course we bought an "official" Jedi Training Academy t-shirt (which is already packed and ready to go!) This time we will be taking our 2 youngest sons, too (4 yr. old twins) who are also really into Star Wars. I hope we're as lucky this time around. Try standing close to the stage--Good luck getting chosen, and may the force be with you!

I just got back from WDW and had a fantastic time at my first SW weekend! For future reference, it seems a lot easier to get autogrpahs from the celebrities on Friday than on Sat/Sun. I got to MGM at 8:15 and was able to obtain a wristband for Anthony Daniels. I could have also gotten one for Billy Dee Williams, but he wasn't on my list of things to do.

As for characters posing for pictures/autographs, these are all the ones I saw while I was there:

Instead of the Cantina Street Party, they close the day with a "Hyperspace Hoopla" show. It's basically a SW themed variety show featuring SW characters (i.e. everyone's favorite comedian Greedo, etc.). It was kinda cheesy but a lot of fun. The best part was that many SW characters were mingling with the crowd as if they were watching the show. They were dancing with people, reacting to the show, etc. It was a hoot!

Too cool--we saw the kid win the million at Millionaire at 11:30 last Saturday as well. We were seat numbers 134-136! I remember because the guy two seats away was always in the top 5. That kid who won was amazing. I am not a Star Wars fan (maybe not a smart thing to say on this thread--did not say I don't like--just never got into it) but it was a great Millionaire. In fact, we did not go back because we thought nothing could top the kid winning.
