In prior MM's they handed out bands at Upper Bradley Falls.

Those who plan to enjoy the parks before the after-hours party begins may find the in-park check-in location at Upper Bradley Falls from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

if you happen to be enjoying Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park earlier that day and would like to check in inside the park, you may do so from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Upper Bradley Falls (look for event signage).

I flew in a day early to attend moonlight magic on 10/24. Went on the safari around 515.

The shop and games at Dino land opened right at 7. No prizes for the games but playing was free. There was a long line for the store before it opened, but no lines after it opened.

Previously you were given tickets at MM checkin to use for the games. Are they now all free (no tickets)?

No tickets, just all free. I was there early, there weren’t that many people yet. Just play 1 round then get back in line. I’m not sure how much the lines grew throughout the night.

Thank you SO much for reporting. The main reason I was interested in the games was the merch (for my kids to collect, as it’s on its way to extinction) and it sounds like, gulp, there won’t be any DVC dinos plushies.

Seriously though, even if a little disappointing, it frees up a lot of time for us to do other MM things (like ride Dinosaur and Everest and meet rare characters!) that I suspect will be more fun and less clutter.

Previously everyone received a prize and there was no real distinguishment for winners (sometimes they let the winner pick their stuffed toy while everyone else got what they got)
