Anyone at VWL? How is renovation going.....

Don't see any renovations going on. Decorations are up in the Mercantile but nowhere else.

Yep... Disney moved Christmas to after Thanksgiving this year to save money. The only park decorated is MK and that's because of MVMCP.

I don't know if the resorts will follow the after Thanksgiving schedule or not. I did notice that the Grand Floridan gingerbread house wooden frame is being built.

We got back Thursday and I think most of the renovations were done. Our group had 3 rooms and everything looked nice and new. It was our first trip there but I think we had the new pull out couch. It was very easy to use and had a compartment to store the pillows. The kids thought it was pretty comfortable. The halls even smelled like new carpet to me.
As far as holiday decorations- didn't see much at the resort (definitely no tree). The store windows were decorated but that was about it. Have a great trip- We miss it already!
