Anyone at the All Stars Now who can report on Food Court situation?

Hi there!

The hubs and I will be staying at All Star Music in September, and we are both early-birds! We love getting to the food court at 6:45 or so to grab a table, get in line for breakfast, eat, and head off to the parks to be in queue for rope drop!

I was just wondering if those there now could say how the busing of Sports guests to the other food courts has affected crowds for both food service and crowds in line for park transport? Have they increased the number of buses? Is food service for breakfast happening earlier?

I know it's silly to think about these things so early out but we do love breakfast :D

Thanks for any info!

I would love to know as well. We are staying in September as well and originally booked the Sports but once I saw the headline on DisBoards that is was going to be closed I called Disney right up and switched to ASMU. I don't mind it being busier but I have a 21 month old and couldn't imagine walking or taking a shuttle from Sports to ASMU.

I know that I am likely worrying over nothing, but I have my breakfast/bus timing down to a science so I need to figure out the variables so I can course-correct as it were :)

I'm sorry, what did I miss? We are staying at the ASMo in November...

No, Sports is closed until Dec 20th so they won't close either of the other AS food courts during that time.

Bumping for people recently back from ASMusic. I'll be there in 18 days and am wondering if I should switch to Pop?

I was at All Stars last Thursday. I stopped in to see the Sports make shift cafeteria. Then I checked into the bussing for meals. The buses run to ASMu for all three meals. A bus runs to ASMo for breakfast and dinner. I talked to two CMs, at Movies, who said the lines to check out have doubled for breakfast. Instead of five in line there are now ten.

How is it going now? Has it settled down at Movies and Music or is it getting worse? I'm more concerned with the knock on effect on buses than brekkie-if the Sporters have come over to Music for brekkie they won't go back to Sports before setting off to the parks (and who could blame them?-I think they are getting a very raw deal especially if they have no fridges either!)
I appreciate it has to be done (and the other 2 no doubt) but can't help thinking there had to be a better way than this-could you imagine if they announced to people stopping at Contemporary that they had to go to GF for their meals?

I am at Music now (9/1-9/15)and the resort is definitely busier than years passed. We have been coming here for 7 years every September and this is the busiest I've seen the resort. But it hasn't been too bad for us. We have our car and never eat in the food court for breakfast or late night.

Breakfast gets pretty crazy mid morning. The pool was pretty busy earlier in the week and a couple of evenings it was crazy. But it has slowed down the last couple days. We hung out at the resort all day today and the food court is quiet all day after breakfast and even during dinner. But tonight my son and I took a walk to the food court to get a drink around 10:30. It was horrible. I have NEVER seen the food court that crowded before. Wall to wall people!

And the RFID mugs are kind of a pain. Some people don't know how to use them some are trying to fill old mugs or plastic cups. And the machines are constantly out of ice.

The bus situation seems to be ok. We took a bus to MK on wednesday at 8:45 and it wasn't even full! Yesterday we took a bus to Epcot at around 9:00 and it was fine. So the Sports situation hasn't affected the buses too bad in our experience.

Just my observations. :)
