Anyone at HH now? Beach chair question

We will be arriving on Sunday for our first ever summer HH trip. We plan on spending more time on the beach, and want to get some beach chairs. There had been mention of a beach chair swap -- does anyone know if there have been any left there from previous guests? We were thinking of picking some up at Walmart but are afraid they may be out of stock since it is the end of the season and they may not be restocking them for the rest of the summer. Is anyone there now and do you have any information on this?

I don't have any information about the chair swap, but I can tell you, that because it is a beach community, the Wal-Mart on the Island always has beach chairs for sale, as does Walgreens and CVS. Have a fun trip. It should be a little less crowded for you next week.

You might even try Sam's Club if you are a member.
Remember to eat a Joyce Burger at the grill. She is the best!

I made the trip to the HHI WAL*MART in June. Where most stores have the outdoor products, this store has a beach shop. In fact, the entrance to the area has a permanent sign above it.

I'm pretty sure you'll be safe there. The prices were reasonable too, much cheaper than renting chairs at the beach.

Just returned from HHI, and Walmart had plenty of chairs left. If I remember correctly the sturdier chairs were $27.98.

I'm gonna try for a studio in Sept. '09 at 7 mos. Hope I can get there...gotta see this resort!
