Just wondering if anyone has actually exchanged vouchers or purchased the discount military tickets at the gate yet. If so, was it problem free or a production? We'll be using the vouchers in Feb. and I'm hoping it's quick to change them out at the gate. Also keep hoping Disney would possibly allow adding a day or two to the tickets without having to buy separate tickets - we'll be there for a week and are planning on a day or two away from the parks since it's only a 5 day ticket - I'd rather be in the parks those days but buying a separate 2 day ticket isn't that cost effective. Wishful thinking I know but I wish they'd just let you add days to the 5 ticket deal

I am interested in this as well. When I read it online I thought it said you could just purchase the Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets at Shades of Green or at the main gates and that was our plan for this April. I called my MIL (since they are the ones with the military ID) and she was going to contact the base to see if it would be a better idea to get them ahead of time. SO whoever hears first please post, It is a great deal for a very deserving group! (Although I am not the deserving one....thrilled to be traveling with a deserving one=;))

Just last night I think it was on the Parks board I read where a few people had posted in a thread their experiences at buying and activating their tickets.
One person said she HAD to have everyone in her party when they activated their tickets. (Buying was easy.)
Another person said of course they did not have to have everyone with them in the party when activating their tickets.
Anyone here surprised? ;)
So that may be the only catch if you can have everyone in your group together it may be easier.

Everyone in your party has to be present no ifs or buts. This information was given out by Disney & military ITT. I haven't used it as yet but this what I was told by my ITT office. She also said most of the ITT's offices haven't gotten theirs as yet. I asked her if you are going this month & they (ITT) don't have them she said they should but if not SOG or Disney tickets booths ( where you will pay taxes on tickets) MHO

Thanks for all these little tips I am very intersted in the individual experiences, so I know what to do since we will be doing this in April. So please post your experiences
