Anyone able to contact MS today?

I've tried calling MS three times this morning, but keep getting the message "Your call could not go through."

Anyone else having this trouble?
 
Oh, you haven't heard about the new policy? They call you, you don't call them anymore. They read your mind and make a reservation for you. ;)
 
I just got off the phone with them and did not have a problem. We added a night to our August reservation.:thumbsup2
 

I just got off the phone with them. I had to wait for five mins but that was all. I completed my dining reservations for dec. 6months to go!:thumbsup2

;);) I am so tired of everyone getting different answers from MS! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

The person I spoke to clearly said they have simpled (yes, he said simpled - maybe simplified was too long to say), the reservation system by making the whole year one giant special seasons preference list.

They put everyone's name in Styrofoam cups (they have lots of extras) and draw names. Then they call you to tell you what days you will be vacationing, at which resort and in what size unit. You either get 11 months notice or 7 months notice.

This was done because of overwhelming member feedback. Apparently the old system required too many phone calls and was too hard for MS to manage due to all the questions and built in loopholes.

The new way requires no phone calls at all. You get what you get when you get it, and it is very fair because everyone gets their name drawn for something.

No waitlisting, but MS is working on a website to allow reservation swaps.

I tried to ask some questions, but that is not allowed anymore, because it takes too long to answer them and someone is always complaining that the answer they got isn't the same one that is posted on the DIS! ;) ;) :teeth:
 
I tried to call yesterday and today and got the same message--Your call cannot go through as dialed. I kept trying and it went through the second or third try. Don't know what is up!

I was able to get through on a landline. I had tried before that on my cell and it did not go through but when I got through on the landline I thought it was my phone. Glad I did get through....snagged a 1BR at BCV for 7/9-7/13 :cool1:
