:cool1: We are planning a Land/Sea adventure for the whole family!

We just had a famliy meeting and decided to forgo a bunch of Christmas presents this year and do a BIG Disney trip instead.
The kids (5 and 8) are VERY excited. They have full piggy banks and are starting on seconds.

I am working on my folks, we already got papa on board.

Anyone else gonna be around at this time????

we are on this cruise after being at saratoga from friday feb 15, ds16 dd 7 and myself. did the 4 night cruise last pres week, decided on the 3 night this year. we have a cat 9 stateroom.

we will also be there!! Me, DH, DD4 (will be with the 5 year olds though since her bday is right when we get back) and DD8. My 8 year old just had her bday so I am debating on whether or not to keep her with the 5-7 year olds to be with her little sis, who can be pretty shy. Anyone else with this dilemma, I'd love to hear your input. We will be in Orlando through the 29th staying at our in-laws.

I think time will fly after the holidays - yeah!! :cheer2:

:dance3: :dance3:

Glad to see we won't be on the ship by ourselves.:goodvibes

My DD5 and DN8 have both memorized the DCL DVD......My DD tells me to ask her any questions because she has been studying and is the expert!

We are staying at the Poly before the cruise...Last time we went DD was 2 and stayed a few hours in Flounder so we could eat at Palo's.
This time the kids are looking forward time in the clubs....I don't know how much we can fit in tho....I plan on staying on board at Nassau (been there done that)...I have a feeling I will have to drag them out (dd anyway) my niece is a bit more clingy.

Hope to see you there.....

not too many replies for this sailing. i wonder if boat will be full as it is offered as a discount cruise on the dcl website? hoping for great weather.

I can't believe it is just over two weeks away now! Yea! We have our suitcases out - it's been fun to get our summer stuff out when there is 10 inches of snow on the ground!

Jewelmickey - for your dd5 and dn8, are you having them in different clubs? From everything I have read, it sounds like the 8yo could go to the OC with the 5-7 group if you asked. The reason I am asking is my dd8 is trying to decide if she wants to stay with her sister (who will be with the 5-7 group) or venture out with the big kids. We have also forwarned her the decision may not be hers to make, just in case. She just turned 8 in November.

On one hand she makes friends very easily and would like the older activities, but her sister is the clingy one and she may decided to stay with her. We've told them they will be doing some activities at the kids club and they are looking forward to it, but they will mostly be with us. At least that's the plan for now!

Anyway, it sounds like the girls are the same ages so I was curious what you had planned on doing, especially if your niece is more shy.

Anyone else have any experience with this?

Thanks!!

I think after 4 days at WDW and sharing a bed they will be ready for some time away from each other! :lmao:

They have both watched the podcasts and are excited about the clubs. We are using Nassau day as our day at sea....the kids will probably spend most of that day in the pools or at the clubs.

Hope to see you there....
