Anybody use Genie+ during BOTH T-giving AND X-mas weeks?

Hopefully the thread title makes enough sense. If there are folks who used Genie+ during both of the major weeks, I'd be curious to hear if they felt it functioned any better during Christmas week than it did during Thanksgiving week? My purely anecdotal reaction is that Thanksgiving seemed to be a complete mess, but that I saw much less complaints during Christmas week. I'm assuming also that the knowledge about the mechanisms of G+ increased between the two holidays. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

I have the same general impression. I'm thinking that if Christmas went better, a major reason may be because Disney moved 4 of the 8 ILL$ to Genie+.

Of course, trip cancellations due to covid and staffing issues may have been factors as well.

I wonder if the 1 hour EE worked better too, instead of the normal 30 minutes.

I do think it was a combo of all most likely
I wasn't there at Thanksgiving to see those crowds but was there Christmas/NYE week.
The extra 30 min in the AM and the additional very popular ride to the Genie+ pool probably contributed the most to having adequate Genie+ choices.
I'm sure some cancelled due to Covid, some are just never going to be comfortable until it's gone so they'll cancel, but it was still quite busy throughout all the parks and reservations were still very limited.
At any rate, we had no complaints with the options we got with Genie+ the few days we used it, which did include Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 2 of the more crowded of all
