Anybody try bidding with Kellogg Kash?

Just bought a couple of boxes of cereal with these on the box and wanted to know if anyone has used them to bid on stuff. Is it worth the trouble?

I seem to have had the best luck with the smaller items (like household goods, wearables). The character breakfasts go real high. I saw one go for 42 KelloggKash, and the current one that ends tomorrow is already at 35 KK. That is ALOT of cereal!

I got a Lion King CD for 10 KelloggKash (saving it for a Christmas present). I keep hoping to get a character breakfast for around 20KK, but I think I am fooling myself

If you like the cereal that the KelloggKash certificates are on, and you can get them for a good price, it is probably worth it. I would not buy the cereal at a premium just to get the Kash.

hellow- I read the small print on the inside of the box which said that for a limited time you could pay for one night in a room at a value resort with 100 KK. I am just wondering who eats that much of the 4 or so cereals that have the KK on the box? The room nights don't have to be bid on. Glad you were successful with small bids. It looks like the childrens character meal can be had for 20KK, but not the adult. Good luck!

Lodgelady: I was tempted with the hotel room for 100 KK until I realized that would mean our family would have to go through a box of 1 of the 4 cereals every other day until we leave for our Spring Break trip. Even with three teenagers, I think that will be stretching it. YIKES!
