Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

What am I not understanding? A package for 4 nights for 2 adults, junior and child is $999. The regular price for 6 nights is $1500....which is $250 per night. This package for 4 nights is $250 per night. Where's the discount? What am I not comprehending?

The difference between a 7 day base pass and a 5 day base pass is only $6.39. You're not comprehending the fact that MYW ticket pricing offers you extra days for almost free.

I don't understand either....I went to disneyworld.com put in dates Dec 1- Dec 5th and the total including 2 adults and 2 children with 5 day base tickets at Pop Century is 1092.00, so not much of a discount.... :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I just did it with a Junior and it comes to $1134 at the Walt Disney World website. Did Pop for Dec 1-5 (standard room), 5 day base tickets for 2 adults, 1 junior (did age 11),and 1 child. That price is with tax. So the package would save you $135. That is a percentage of 11.9%.

BUT - how much would it save you if you went in November during REGULAR season?? Maybe that is where the real savings is???

I completely agree with this calculation. Well done. :earboy2:

Well if that is the package that will be released it isn't going to be a good enough one to make me rebook. I was hoping for something like the free dining package that we had a few weeks ago or something like the Fairytale package from a few years ago. Oh well, hopefully they will officially release it tomorrow and we can all see what it is exactly.

Oh no! :earseek: So what happens if you check in on the 8th, as we will be? Will we get any sort of discount for the 10, 11 and 12th?

BTW, if you do a search in Google for "disney world" "code YQC" one of the first results is a San Antonio Express page, and the preview results lists the $999 deal. But if you click on the link, the discount isn't mentioned anywhere on the SA page - just the $1500 MYW deal. Looks like someone loaded a page before they were supposed to, and then withdrew it but the record is still in Google's humungous database.

clever use of google, cbear!! well done!!!

It really isn't that big of a savings...not that they HAVE to give any, but I sure was hoping for free dining again...crossing fingers hoping they will surprise us!!!

Great deal for regular season travelers! If you put in the same info for Nov 16-20 at POP - it is $1,232. So, regular season provides a discount of $233 .....$260 if you include the tax. Anyone agree???

Well it looks like there isn't going to be any additional savings for me :sad2: I'm sure they aren't offering discounts the first week of December because the entire resort looks pretty full. I'm sure Pop Warner has taken alot out of the Values and Mods anyway.

I'm still happy with the deal I got thru AAA. Free dining would have been nice but there is always next year for that :teeth:

I know one of the TA's on here said it would be a better deal then the 20% AAA discount soooo I'm thinking that will include something else also. Maybe dining but that seems like too much discount for them to give with being mostly full.
We'll see.

Looks like Disney is doing the same thing they're doing with the recent PIN promotion and Best Rate AP---expanding the dates that now get value season pricing. Discount isn't as good for dates that are already value season.
