We just recently purchased the Deluxe edition & just yesterday the boys borrowed Unleashed from a friend down the road.

It is GREAT!!! A great time waster too:)

I do so love a challenge & this game really is a challenge.

So, do any of you have it? If you do, do you like it as much as we do?;)

I have the Sims and it's incredibly addicting. When I first got it, I would sometimes stay up way to late playing it because I lost track of time! I spend more time cleaning my Sims house than I do my own house.

I have been wanting Unleashed, but my computer is soooo old (four years) that it can't handle it (I tried, but it didn't work). I'll probably be getting a new computer later this year, and I will definitely load unleashed on it the day I get it.

My teenagers and their friends all love this game and would play it for hours if I didn't ever make them get off!

TLinden, I'm with you on the house cleaning bit. I spend way more time cleaning my Sims house than I do my own.

It is very very addicting............once you get on you just lose all track of time & before you know you've wasted hours, but it was a fun few hours tho.

I find it quite challenging too, trying to keep them all happy.

Unleashed is great, as you can adopt pets:)

Liz, I try to shoo my kids off so I can have a go. But then while they are at school I have it to myself:)

DH and I have The Sims up to the expansion pack Sims Vacation. I'll be getting Sims Unleashed eventually, in no hurry really. It is very addicting and that's why I don't play as much as I used to.

My name is trayletha and I am a SIMS addict. I've got all the expansions up to Unleashed; but my husband says what I really need is SIMS' Anonymous ;) .

the deluxe addition. However I can't seem to keep them happy! HELP!!!

Tony try to let them spend alot of time in front of the TV or reading for fun - also some sims like painting. If you've got an OK amount of money let them work every other day and just veg for half the week - you only lose a job if you miss two days in a row. (boy I wish my work would let me do that. LOL)

i have all of the sims packs except for house party. i love that game!! it's very addicting!! i find though that i go through spurts. some weeks, i spend hours on my sims, daily, but then i'll won't touch the game for weeks! i love the unleashed expansion. there's more "stuff" for them to do!

Tony...i've found this rejuvenator thing that i downloaded from one of the sims sites out there. your sim steps into it and when they step out, they are completely refreshed!! not hungry, no bladder issues, social is up there...it's been so handy as i've had this sim that i just could not keep her social skills up at all. now someone's got a crush on her!!

my DH keeps teasing me that i need to get a computer just to hold all of my sims stuff! i'm anxiously waiting for the new expansion pack! something about superstars...

I love the Sims. My computer is so screwed up it won't support it but when I visit my mom I play it on hers. It's on my sons computer but he never lets me on to play it and he doesn't know it's there. I have all of them. To keep them happy get them money then lots of things to play with. I believe the cheat for money is shift, control , c...then a little thing appears to type in, type in rosebud, that will give you $1000 , then do it again but don't type rosebud, type ;!;!, continually do it and you get a grand for every symbol. If it doesn't work let me know, I will go to my sons computer and figure it out .

OOOHHHH scarlett where did you get that??? Do you have a link? Please !!!

My DS bought the deluxe version and played it for quite awhile, but then his life got busier so he put it away...then let me borrow it and I've been hooked on it ever since!!! My Sim just got married!! I had bought her the little oil lamp, and when she cleans it a genie appears and grants her a wish!! The last time he asked if she wanted wealth or love and I had her choose love, so she got married!!! Now I have two to try and keep happy!!

My DS had told me about that rosebud thing....I haven't tried it yet, but probably will :D

It's so hard to try and keep all the levels up, and now it will be harder with two! If I have the choice of having a child I'll decline, would be just too hard to try to control more Sims!! :D

My DS got the cheat off the Internet. It sure is handy when money is low.

Yeah I agree, buy lots of fun things for them to play with. Like a big train set, a Pinball machine, get them a stereo & juke box. They seem to crave music.

Make sure they study cooking & mechanics & have a computer too.

It is very challenging trying to keep them all happy & their needs fulfilled, but it's fun too.

Get a maid & a gardener too, saves your Sims time when they get home from work. They need to interact with each other quite a bit too, or they just don't like each other any more.

We are going to copy the Unleashed before we give it back to our friends, so we have our own copy.

I used to find Deluxe a challenge but Unleashed is even more of a challenge I find, as you have pets involved in this one & they need to be house trained & obedience trained. FUN!!:)

I also love the Sims! You can also use the word Klapaucius for a cheat code instead of rosebud. I'm not sure which is more money though. I have one serious working family and one lazy cheat code family that just play games all day. It's hilarious when I get a message that tells me I should really get my Sims a job. LOL

I love this game! The Expansion Packs are great, too....:D
