Could anybody please tell me as much as they can about February in the World as far as the weather, crowds, etc. I was supposed to be going in November which I think is the best time to go but now that won't be possible because of my job. I'm really bummed out that the we won't be going then and the next time possible isn't until February. Any help would be great...Thanks

We went around President's Day a few years ago and MUCH to our surprise, our trip also coincided with the Daytona 500. Talk about bad timing. It was awful. Well, I mean, it WAS Disney, but it was really super crowded. I think the beginning of February would be a great time to go, though.

Lucky you!;) My DH and I love going to WDW in Feb. The crowds low(avoid Washingtons Birthday..its a 3 day weekend for most schools) the weather is cool...sometimes even cold so swimming is probably out...but IMO one of the best months to visit. Have a great time!:goodvibes

We have gone in February the last two years. Each trip was for eight days. We have had different weather experiences both times. Two years ago the weather was perfect! Highs in the mid eighties and lows in the upper fifties. Last year the highs struggled to get out of the seventies and the lows were downright frigid. A couple of days it was too cold for an afternoon swim. Rain was not an issue on either trip.

We have never thought that the parks were too crowded. In fact, we have experienced very little wait times for the rides, especially during extra magic hours.

We love going down in February and we will be there again this February (2/20-3/1).

Hope you have fun!!

We have been in Feb and LOVED it. The crowds were very, very light. The weather was wonderful. Just back some light jackets/sweaters for the evenings!

It depends when on Feb. you go. If you go during the holiday week (Presidents' Day), that's when schools in the northeast (and maybe other places?) have their February vacation week, so the parks will be crowded then. Also, if you're there the 13th (I think it is) or later, that's the start of a busy season so you'll pay more for rooms. (12th and earlier is value season.)

You're right. We live in NH and our school vacation is the last week of February. I work in MA and their week is the third week of February.

Go early in February during value season and the crowd levels are nonexistant. Of course, park hours are shorter, but you might also catch the P&P Party at Magic Kingdom.

Take jeans or capri's and sweatshirts, hoodies for evening wear. Highs during the day will be very comfortable for shorts.

Have a great trip!

We were also there in February of 07 and 08. It's a wonderful time to visit. Beats the heat of the summer for sure. We still used fastpass and were at the parks for rope drop each day. We arrived the Saturday/Sunday before President's Day weekand departed the Friday of that weekend. Crowds were definitely picking up on that Friday. We swam each year and did manage a day at a waterpark each year also. We had no choice as our DS9 wasn't going to let us out of that! As we are from the midwest, we thought the weather was wonderful. We wore shorts every day! Of course, 60/70 seemed warm compared to 20/30. Mornings were definitely a little cooler but we never broke out our winter coats during the trip. At least not until we drove home. Hope you enjoy your trip and happy planning!

We were also there in early Feb 07 and 08. Last year the weather could not have been more perfect at that time. The crowds were heavy however due to Mardi Gras I'm told. We are going Jan 30-Feb 7 09 and I'm hoping the Super Bowl (in Tampa) will not affect the crowd level too much.

we were there last Feb. from the 5th until the 11th and had perfect weather and a great time. Have fun, I don't think you'll have any problems!

February is a great time to go! We've been a couple of times and experienced wonderful weather and light crowds. I'd highly recommend this time of year. We've been at all different times throughout the year and I think February was by far the best. We are going in October for the first time this year so I'm hoping it is just as nice!

As others have said, it depends when you go in February. Around President's Day lots of schools have vacation and it can get crowded. We go pretty much every February after this holiday week (usually last week of Feb) and find that crowds are not an issue.

The weather is nice- warm enough for shorts & T-shirts during the day. You need sweatshirts at night. For the most part it's really pleasant!

We'll be there again this coming February- Can't wait!!

My family and I are also going in February during the President's week. Yes, I have read what has been said about the crowds.:upsidedow I am from NYC so I am used to crowds. I have dealt with crowded subways and city streets. Its expected and I have done my homework when it comes to President's week at WDW.

Plus, it is the only time we can go without having our kids attendance at school become an issue.

We have always gone in early October (6 times anyway) and we've had light crowds and good weather. Went in Feb 08 and saw about the same # of people. This year we'll be at Pop the first week of December. I've always wanted to see Christmas decorations! I am worried because Pop claims to be full! Any feedback on early December crowds?

We have gone the last week in Feb.(which usually runs into Mar.) for the last three years and have found it to be a very nice time to go. Out of those three years one was completely dead, no waits at all and the other too had some crowds but not unbearable so. And the weather is pretty nice to boot.

We were there this past February from the 6-15. We didn't have any problems that I recall with the crowds. We thought the weather was pretty chilly. That was our first time being there in February and I'm thinking that the temperature at that time of year is probably not very consistant. We had comfortable temps in the middle of the day, but then around 3:00 every afternoon it would change a lot and very fast.
