I am trying to keep myself under control.
I listen to Christmas music on my computer, but have not started listening to it in the car. I have not put any Christmas decorations up, but I do get excited when I see them in the stores. I baked cookies with my son today, but they were only chocolate chip - no Christmas cookies yet. What are some special things you do with your kids if they are older? I have read about some Elf thing, but my kids are too old for that. The youngest two are 11 years old, then I have a teenage boy 17 and two grown children 20 and 22 living at home. I want to do some things that are special with them, but have no ideas as to what to do?

We do decorate a tree together, they help their Dad put up the outside decorations, we make Christmas cookies together, and there is the annual "boys only" shopping trip and "girls only" shopping trip.
What are some Christmas traditions that you have in your family that carry forth for older kids/adults?
Thanks!

I don't think I've spent that much total on trees my entire life but it's gorgeous & I can't wait to decorate it.
