DD got her flu shot on the 3rd. She is an asthma patient and is at risk. We saw her asthma MD on Sat. and they were out of the flu shot already. I hope there is no shortage issues like last year.

There's a flu shot clinic here on campus for anyone that wants one November 9. I'll be getting one then. I've never gotten one before, but being in the dorm, mom wants me to. I believe at-risk people can get them earlier than the 9, so they're making sure they've got everyone covered here, but it seems like they're not worried about shortages, at least not here on campus.

We got ours on the 8th. I am asthmatic, so I always get one. Our paper yesterday said that our area has ample supply, but that can always change.

my dd11 got hers while at the Dr. for her asthma!! it was a surprise shot!! we were there the week before and they told us it would be Nov. before they got the shots in......we had to go back and they had them-

My company is offering the shots to employees this year, but I'll pass.

I just got mine last week. I get one every year because I have asthma, plus I work in a school and they pretty much require that all staff get one.

I got mine on the 12th. from my Transplant Team, but my Primary Care has not gotten his shipment in yet! Makes me wonder if there will be a shortage as well.

I got mine Friday, and DH will get his today. Our school nurse gets them for whomever wants them. She said there's not supposed to be a shortage this year.

On the other hand, DD has a major phobia about shots (avoids them unless it's an absolute necessity). She's planning on doing the spray mist this year. When I called her doctor's office, I was told it would be at least November before it gets here.

The flu shot clinics are just starting around here. We will get ours next week probably. I need to call and make an appointment at the clinic for ours since the kids have asthma and are high risk. They reserve shots for the high risk patients and then have general clinics for the rest of the population that wants them with what they have left.

My 3 year old son has his Saturday because he is of his Ashtma. My daughter who is 5 was put on a sibling waiting list. So I praying she will get one.

High risk son is scheduled for next Sat... Other son on 'waiting list'.

DD and I got ours last Thur. It was suposed to be a high risk clinic at the Senior Center. but they said they had enough for us regular folks too.

ds 3 got one last week (he has asthma) and dd/ds 18 months got theirs at the same time. we weren't told anything about a shortage at all, but maybe because ds3 has asthma and the twins were preemies?
