Anybody ever used one of the timeshare companies for free tickets?

Hey folks - we've got a package from a timeshare company in Myrtle Beach that has promised us what works out to be 3 short vacations - 1 includes 2 tickets to a park at Disney, just to come take a 90-120 minute tour of a unit in Myrtle Beach. Anyone ever done something like this? Did it work out for you? We've got it in writing that the offer is what it is. Just curious if anyone else has done this.

If the question is will you get the tickets promised you...
Yes! you will.

First you have to have a qualifying income level, and second if married-both must attend the sales pitch.

And third, it is exactly that, a sales pitch~some reputable companies IMO are worth investing in like Fairfiled and RCI-we've had good experiences with them and the price is right if you get in early enough.

Yes I have done these tours and have received the tickets. One tour was back in 1985 when I got a 3 day hopper pass to (back then only) Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

No nights in the resort were included.

Some of the tours include breakfast, but they have the right not to count the breakfast time in the 90 to 120 minute presentation.

Nowadays the tickets you get are of limited value. Yes you do get the one or two park days, but if your vacation is about a week long, you save only three dollars a day compared with paying full price for your tickets and not going to the timeshare presentation.

As far as the timeshare itself goes, you can usually buy it secondhand through third party brokers for much less than a quarter of the price compared with buying it at the presentation.
