Anybody ever stay at Fairfield Bonnet Creek Resort?

My MIL owns Fairfield and we have stayed at Cypress Palms which was fine, but just hated the driving back and forth off property. Since the new Bonnet Creek is essentially on property, I am thinking of splitting a stay there and at the CR in May. Anyone have input on this resort? Their homepage doesn't give enough detail to satisfy me. The pictures look really nice, but I want to see and hear more!

Never stayed there, but have only heard fantastic things about it. I'd stay there in a heartbeat!

I've stayed there. What do you want to know.

Nice pools with a zero entry area, lazy river, and kids waterpark.
Staff was friendly. Rooms are spacious. They have a children's program. My kids didn't participate, so don't know specifics. The have a restaurant (more like full service snack bar I think), but never ate there so don't know about food quality. They do have a free shuttle to the parks, we didn't use it. I think it departs ~3-4 times in morning and I'm not sure about pick up service. More upscale than Cypress Palms.

Definately a very easy commute to everything Disney as once you pull out of the resort you're on Disney property

Great resort, we will definately stay there again.

Thanks for the replies. What size condos are available. I think I read somewhere that they had 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom units, and somewhere else that there were only 1 and 2 BR available. Anyone know for sure?

but not from a transportation point of view. Disney doesn't supply the bus transportation, you can't walk to a place where you can take Disney transportation and the resort has the same limited shuttle service that other offsite properties offer. It's a shame they don't do something like just run a shuttle every 30 mintues to the TTC.

You could take a Disney bus to a resort like CBR and then get a taxi for just a few dollars.

1, 2, 3, and 4 br are available. It's still kind of tough to get a reservation there, but not impossible. You might want to have your mil check everyday at 8:00 am, if they don't have one when you first inquire.

I agree with Heather. Even if your MIL is unable to secure a reservation at FFBC, try again once in a while. They are scheduled to open the next building sometime in the late spring. They'll add a lot of inventory into the system all of a sudden, at some point. That'll be a good time to switch reservations, even if it's only a couple months ahead. Have your MIL ask them to use her cancelled points to book it and make the switch then, if it become available.

And they definitely have 1BR, 2BR, 3BR & 4BR. We saw the 1BR, 2BR & 4BR. Most of the rooms are 1BR & 2BR so availability is probably better for those. Enjoy your stay at either place. They're both nice, just different. :)
