I bumped this up just in case there was anyone who is like me and wanted to watch those charming, sweet commercials again just once more before they actually go.
My favorite is from 1999. It started in B&W and was set in the 60's. Two middle-school kids (boy and girl) are in class, and the teacher (ancient by their standards) asks them how old they will be in 2000. Teacher says cheerfully "You'll be MY age" and the kids look at each other in horror and say "We'll be too old to do ANYTHING". Cut to same couple, now in their 40's, having the time of their lives on a ride at WDW. It was just the right message for my demographics!
