Anybody else have a LONG wait to WDW?

My sister and I went this summer in July, but are planning on going again Aug. 04. Not sure of exact dates yet since some of us have to be able to get the time off from work. So far there are 8 of us, My mother (83) my brother, his wife and their 14 year old daughter, my sister, myself and my brothers two other daughters 25 & 22 years old. The 14 year old has never been before. The others it has been a few years. Hope to stay at OKW. Am I excited? You know it!
It is going to be a very long year. It's good I have a sister who enjoys planning. ;) Thank goodness for these forums.

October 2004 for us. It's a far way off but at least we're going back. :D

I made it to the 200's this week.:D I actually enjoy the planning and anticipation, but I wish I were going TODAY!:D

I guess that I am the longest one out. I may go in Oct 2005 for 50th birthdays but just for a long weekend. ANd then it may be sometime in 2006. It seems like forever, but I will keep checking these sites and living through other people's trips.

Tiger we're with you, Our next trip to the world isn't until Dec 2004. I think once Jan gets here and we book our room and then a few monthes later MVMcp tics will go on sell and so on , it will go quickly. It's just getting to Jan thats seems so long away.

SnowWitch - When are you going in Dec.? We will be at the BWV too! Maybe we can hook up. I think it will go quickly after January too. We are booking on Jan. 11 (hopefully), then we will buy park tickets, MVMCP tickets, make PS, buy trip goodies -I'll have to think of a schedule for every month. And, I want to buy the 2004 guidebooks to read, but know I should wait until the 2005 books come out. Have fun planning :)

I hate to wish time away, but it just can't come fast enough!!

We'll be celebrating our 5th Anniversary (three weeks after the fact, so that we can see WDW decorated for Christmas) at my dream resort - GF.

Lory- you're going to love FW; we were there in July: site 1327. There is so much to do, we were sorry we only had a week. I hope to surprise DH with a carriage ride next trip.

Wow - we should start a Dec. 2004 group, there are a lot of us. We will be there hopefully on the 5 - 10. We can plan together and do reminders about PS and things like that! WDW in Dec. is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in my life - absolutely stunning.

A little under 3 months for me now but it seems like forever. The bad thing is after this trip I won't be going again until December 2005. The good thing is that will be a trip to Disneyland for it's 50th Anniversary.

Just booked for July 2004 it seems so far away 284 long days! last time i went i booked last min so i did not have to wait but this is too much! anyway i have plenty to do between now and then so it won't be too bad!

TigerLilly'sMom:

That's a great idea to start our own Dec 2004 thread!!
Go for it!!
I'm sure there will be great response, and it will help the time go by faster for all of us :bounce:

I've got a trip coming up in less than 50 days, but after that, it will be a long wait (Nov. or Dec. 2005). It was supposed to be 2006, but my sister and I (it will be a "whole family" trip), convinced my DH it should at least be 2005. Now if we could just convince him that it really should be 2004.........

I am leaving in 10 days..but after that trip..I will join you for the Dec 04 countdown! I won't be going back until then. This is going to be the first time in a luxury resort, Contempo, but in December I have my heart set on the Poly. Then we are going September 2005 (DD will turn 3 during the trip so we are going to get one last trip in before we pay for her!) Then, we won't go again until July 2006 for my DH's 30th B-day. I will take him to either Yatch Club if we have kids or Celebrations if we don't (or maybe somehow we can do both!) Who know..but I digress.

After October 11th, I will join your Disney December 2004 group!!!

TigerLily we'll be at the BWV Dec 10 or 11 thru 17. We're getting a 2 bedroom for our family of 4 and my brother, SIL, and nephew. My best friend and her family will be in a studio.

My 11 yr old already wants me to start an itinerary.

We can't wait. We decided to skip this year when we heard no Osbourne Lights.

Good idea - I would have been so disappointed to miss it - It was just gorgeous, a truly magical part of WDW in Dec. I remember walking down the street with the lights and the "snow" was falling and they were playing "And So This Is Christmas" by John Lennon and it was just unbelievable. I got chills right now just typing it.
