I am trying to pack for the kids, and having to pack shorts for the day and pants and sweatshirts for at night!

I am running out of room FAST!

Anybody else?

ME ME ME ME ME!!!

I swear what is saving me is those travel space saver bags. It really helps because we will be gone almost 2 weeks!! If you don't have some, then I would get some. I still may run out of room :) :)

I dont have any, but maybe I need to get some!!
I think I might fit it all, but might need to buy an extra suit case to come home with! Because we will have more coming home than when going!

Yes, I'm going crazy! I only want to take one suitcase (okay, it's huge) with clothing for 3 people. I'm focusing on layering so we can remove layers if it's warm or add them if it's cold. I'm packing sandals but also mittens and hats for the evening. We'll be doing MVMCP one night and I plan on staying as late as possible so I think we'll need those at least on that night. I will be doing laundry at least once so that will help keep the number of outfits down. But I still don't know if I can fit everything in. *crossing my fingers*

Me too !!!

Shorts, Ts, jackets, swimsuits, jeans......

Packing is hard this time of year. But I would much rather have this problem then not be worrying about it.

It's almost time!!!! :bounce:

I love this board.. you all are the only one's who can relate to panic attacks about packing for our Disney Trip next weekend! Yea!!!!

I agree about the space bags.. We use them all the time, we are also scuba divers and packing for those trips takes Loads of equipment so space is minimal.. the bags are great..

I have also used The extra large Zip-lock bags.. they work for at least 1-2 trips.. not as heavy duty as the space bags, but they do the job for at least one trip. Also the gallon size zip bags are great for underclothing, socks, etc.. so the inspection guys aren't touching everything! just fill them up 3/4 way and then zip almost closed, roll up and let out the air, then close them up.

I think I'll go start packing!! I was going to start baking cookies to freeze, so I won't have that to do when I get home.. but packing sounds like more fun!!!

CAN'T WAIT!!!

I've already baked the cookies and put up the tree so I don't have to do it when we get back. I was so proud of myself! But I have NO idea what to pack. Maybe I will conveniently forget the sweaters and sweatshirts so DH will have to buy us some there!

Ack! It was 39 degrees in Anaheim yesterday! What the hey???

Now I'm going to run out and buy heavier gloves!

Taking out the suitcases this weekend and trying to decide whether to take two suitcases and a duffle bag or to add a third suitcase "just in case". ;)

AAAAACKKKK!

Whew! I feel better now.

Have a great one everybody!

:yo-yo:

Oh my, we leave Saturday and I haven't even started. I still need to get the "big" suitcase from my Mom. Our little suitcases we bought before kids will not cut it on this trip.

Yes, I am going nuts too. On our other trips, I was able to find those jumbo zip lock bags. Now, they are no where to be found! They helped out so much and now I can't find them. :(
Believe it or not, I have two left from last trip, so will be using them. Every little bit helps. Maybe I need to get those space bags. Been trying to save $ not spend $ before trip though.
I've been driving my family crazy playing Disney Theme Park music while I pack.

Leaving on Monday. Will be there for a week. Easy answer...pack for the warm weather (shorts, t-shirts, etc.) since the clothes are small. Then just buy sweatshirts and other warm clothes while you're down there. You know you want to anyway... :)

Im going nuts over packing and IM LEAVING TOMORROW!!!!!!!
The weather keeps going from low 70's, to upper 70's to lower 80's, and back down to upper 70's. With lows in the 50's... I was trying to pack as light as possible this trip!! So much to do.. less than 24 hours to go!!!!!!

Hmmm, think we will swelter if I don't bring any shorts? I was hoping to just do long pants and t-shirts with some layering items on top. Space is gonna be tight! (But like someone said, I don't mind having this problem!). We're arriving 12/11 ...

Everyone, have a great time next week!

I'm not bringing any shorts for myself or the baby. I don't wear shorts anyway so that's not a problem for me, I just bring a cargo skirt or two that will work in hot or cold weather. I'll bring one dress for the baby in case we get a freak 90 degree day, but jeans and a short sleeve tee should be fine. I'm taking one pair of shorts for DH. Hopefully that will be enough and temps will be in the 70's, which would be perfect for us as we can wear jeans then just layer in the evening.

My mom suggested to me to roll up all ov your clothes and you can stack roll on top of rolls. Roll everything including underwear. She says this really does work. That's what I'm going to do for our packing. You might want to try it. I guess I should be starting to pack too, we leave on 12/5. I have two kids to pack for.
