DH and the kids went out for a little while today and came back with Mother's Day gifts. DD#1 chose a Sizzix palm tree and DD#2 chose Sizzix hearts. DH bought me some Martha Stewart glitter and glue:rotfl2: . I mentioned a few days ago that I want to try glitter some day, but I wasn't really thinking of THAT brand:rotfl: .

Anybody else get any scrapping stuff for Mother's Day? Anybody else willing to admit they actually own MS stuff?

Kinda but not really. My mother got me the Polaroid photo frame for my son to give me. . Now, I just have to figure out how to use it.

well, it's not scrap stuff, but I did get a new camera. :) dh bought a sony dslr. it's cute, got really good reviews and of course, I have NO idea how to work it. :) the battery is charging as I type. :) maggie

DH shopped on his own -- he got me memory makers tool kit and laser guided scissors -- still in transit. I got myself cricut cartridges - -alphalicious and animal kingdom. I don't even have a cricut machine! I am thinking I will get one for my bday next month.

DH & the Furbabies got me scrapbooking stuff for FurBaby Mother's Day! I got some CutterBee Scissors, a new trimmer (I stepped on mine and broke it. . .yes, that was fun!), some chalks, and some Disney rub-ons. Also, DH lost a bet with me, and my winning prize was a Cricut cartridge. I got All Mixed Up! It wasn't technically for mother's day, but it came at the same time! :thumbsup2

I scored....I'm going to China in June, so DH got me a pocket camera, Cannon S700 to have easy access (rather than my Cannon Rebel EOS) and the kids came up with the cricut bag (got my cricut for my bday in march) with the Jasmine Cart...then since DD & DH had the flu DS (who is 7) offer to take me to lunch (McDonalds of course and then to Michaels to get the Cricut tool kit. Not such a bad day considering the flu is floating around my house, huh?

Now I'm snooping online trying to find a good source for some cricut paper pads. I guess I have to break down and cut some strips instead, they seem crazy $$$ for such few sheets. :surfweb:

I've been treating myself to scrapbooking supplies now for about 2 weeks straight. I swear, even I am embarassed about how much I've spent. However, most of it is Disney related and, Lord knows, I've got to get my pre-trip books (autograph album, etc.) done order before we can go. In Decmber. :rotfl: My only saving grace is that I just bought DH new golf clubs (HIS hobby) so he feels like he "owes" me. :rolleyes1 Actually, my DH is very supportive when it comes to scrapping - we actually scrap together, so it's a hobby we both share.

Well, sorta...my MIL gave me 65 packs of Provo Craft "Laser Layouts" that she got at a yard sale for $1. Never used them before, but they were cute.

Nope, DH didn't come through this year. Gave DS18 money and told him to take DS15 shopping. BIG MISTAKE! They got DS18 a haircut, and dinner for both of them, and I got 2 cards, a bush, and a bag of Almond Joys (only because DS15 insisted, and they are my faves).

So, Father's Day is coming up, and I can only hope that they are as thoughtful and creative with his gifties, because I'm going to do the same thing for him :rotfl:

We have Mother's Day on real Mothering Sunday in March - and I got no scrap stuff :sad1:

I got loads of scrappin stuff for Mother's Day. Woohoo! Dh got me some ribbon holders, some stamps (including Disney) and a $50 gift card to JoAnn's. MIL gave me a cartridge for Mother's Day and my bday combined. Plus my mom got me some adhesive stuff. And we got MIL some gift cards too, and since she lives with us, we went in together and got a Cuttlebug and a bunch of fun stuff.

My son got me a new album and some paper, which is an amazing gift from him. I can't believe he went into a scrapbooking store and chose something! When he was little, he hated it when I would drag him into any kind of scrapbooking, fabric, or craft store. I loved it, it was the most thoughtful thing he has ever given me.
