May 16th, 2002 is the Disney Pin Trading Cruise. The ship is almost full now, only cat 1,2 & 3 are available. You are going to be on the cruise with over 500 pin traders wearing lanyards and carrying pin bags. It should be a great cruise.
Can you explain the pin collectors to me one more time. This is my first DCL experience is there something I should bring to make it more interesting for my children or is it no big deal? I am very curious now!!! Thanks!
Go to the DisneyStore and purchase some $5 pins for them to bring with them on the cruise. You can also purchase Disney pins online from www.cheappins.com. Have them wear a sports lanyard around their neck when they board the ship. You can also buy official WDW lanyards at the parks. They can trade pins with cast members wearing lanyards. I am sure one of the 300 pin traders on board will also trade with kids.
Dude & his beautiful bride are cruising with ya on May 16. At first, I loved the idea of the pin cruise happening but now I think it may be a lil' too crowded.
Most Disney 3 or 4 day cruises in the spring & summer sail full so I don't think 300 pins traders are going to make a difference. The pin activities will be listed in the daily activities sheet so you can just avoid them if you wish.
