Anybody Bring a Stroller and Regret it?

If you bring your stroller and find that your child is not using it in the park and you don't want to lug it around - just park it at one of the MANY stroller parking areas and pick it up on your way out.

if you don't want to haul it go to walmart when you get there( or someplace similar) and ( at least around here) you can buy an umbrella stroller for $10 and donate it to someone when you leave..i would guess it would cost that much to rent one.

We got it at our local WalMart. It claims to be an unbrella stroller but it folds up like our regular stroller but is a lot smaller and lighter.

Take the Stroller! Take the stroller! We had no trouble lugging along our double umbrella in May, along with 4 pieces of luggage and three children. We were SOOOO glad to have it, especially in the airport, after leaving the parks and on the walk back to our room at POP...Good luck!

Yes, this is a question I am bouncing back and forth. We took our granddaughters to Disney 2 years ago. At that time they were 3 and 5. They both had their own strollers and used them -- everyday.

Now the problem, we are taking the girls back to Disney in November. They are now 5 and 7. I don't know whether to take a stroller this time or not. I think I will have a hard time getting the 5 year old to ride in a stroller with her sister NOT riding in a stroller.

However, with all the walking, they might both decide that riding for a while would be a good idea.

Your thought?

I'm in this situation, although with a 3- and almost 5-year-old. We go to the parks every weekend, so my kids are VERY used to walking a LOT, unlike most kids. BUT, we still bring a stroller EVERY time and will for a while yet. However, we bring a single these days Start out with the 3-year-old in it, who honestly spends *most* of his transit time in it since he is a wanderer. But when DD(almost 5) starts walking slower, we swap 'em out and let her ride and DS3 walk. This is a great solution for us. We still have a double stroller, but since it's so much harder to maneuver, we like the single better.

NOW, if we were going to spend and entire day (open to close) in the parks, I may bring the double, 'cause they will both be tired by afternoon/early evening and that will just make it easier and let us make it through to fireworks Luckily, for the next 3 years, we can "come back next weekend" so we don't feel the need to be there open to close....

And IDEAL solution for you might be a Sit & Stand stroller....have you seen those? One seat up front, and a board on the back for the second one to stand on and ride along...and sometimes has a simple bench seat for the stander, too!

I haven't done WDW with a stroller - but we just did DL with a stroller and a 1 year old. The stroller was great for parades as well as the other reasons - nice shady place for the DD to sit and watch from.
