Just got back from Disney and planning a weekend in Hershey. Not the same I know. I saw on the thread above that Hershey gives out a bracelet to people that need special accomadations. Any experience lately with it. The above posts are from last year.
Thanks so much.
BTW Had a great time at Disney all places were great with my highly allergic son and we found out they will even make him a pizza with no cheese at CS.
New sticker on pediatric stroller worked great because they could see right off that he needed it on the line. :thumbsup2
Only one complaint we couldn't bring Disney home with us. :confused3

Just a comment on Hershey Park - we were there last week. No special requirements or accomodations, just a comment.

The park itself is very hilly, with winding walkways that loop around everywhere. It is a lot of walking. Many of the walkways are extremely narrow.

Although we did not have any strollers or other wheeled vehicles, I think it would be a lot more difficult get get around Hershey Park than at WDW.

It's a big amusement park...

We just went over July 4 weekend. We went on Friday. No lines at all. It was great. We did not mind the walking at all. It is not Disney but it is nice. The kids enjoyed it a lot.

I haven't been this year, but I have been a season pass holder for years.

Hershey gives out yellow wrist bands. They do not work like GAC at Disney. In the past the yellow band gets you to the front of the line. Members of your party may join you, up to one full car. Meaning, for WildCat, you and one other person.

When you receive your yellow band, you will also receive a booklet. The booklet will tell you how to enter each ride. It will also tell you the number of your group that may join you on the ride.

The yellow band, most of the time, means NO wait.

You need to go to the rides office for the band. When you enter the park, walk to the Carrousel, keep left past the Craftbarn Kitchen, keeping left past Shakey's Drive In and past the Claw. It is on your left.

If walking is a problem, they have ECV rental before you enter the park. It is to the left after you leave the tram. Ask your tram driver for directions. He/She should be able to point to the building. They were $35 for the day.
